34-year-old Larry Lane was involved in a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Jailah Burleson, at their Grand View apartment on April 23rd. Burleson contacted law enforcement, stating that her boyfriend pushed her to the ground during an argument. Burleson added that when she tried to call 911, Lane took her phone from her and left the apartment. She was able to get the phone back and called 911 again. Officers later spoke with Lane and asked him why he took her phone. Lane replied, ” So she couldn’t call the police.” Larry Lane was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault and interfering with an emergency call.
Larry Berrnell Lane of Lancaster Road in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on April 23rd, charged with domestic assault. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,000.
