John Marihugh charged with 2 a.m. DUI on Madison Street in Clarksville

Clarksville Police Officer Matthew Johnson conducted a traffic stop on a blue Lincoln MKZ just after 2 a.m. on August 29th near the 1900 block of Madison Street. The driver, 36-year-old John Patrick Marihugh, reportedly reeked of alcohol, and when asked how much alcohol he had consumed, he stated “enough” while an open and partially consumed Miller Lite can sat in the driver’s door beside him. Though he agreed to perform field sobriety tests, they had to be stopped for his own safety due to his level of intoxication.

Tyler Kelley charged in brutal assault of girlfriend after drinking bottle of vodka

26-year-old Tyler Jacob Kelley was jailed Tuesday after his girlfriend of sixteen months, Stephanie Hartley-Baker, says he shoved her to the ground, climbed on top of her, placed his hands around her throat, and used the entire weight of his body to press down on her. He only stopped when her young son, who was celebrating his first day of kindergarten, jumped on Kelley’s back and screamed for him to stop hitting his mother.

National Guard Poster Boy Nathaniel Gann charged with 2nd DUI, stolen handgun & more

23-year-old National Guard Soldier Nathaniel Gann was erratically driving a red Ford Mustang late Friday night on Providence Blvd. When officers arrived on the street, they observed the Mustang traveling at only 15 mph and swerving onto sidewalks, and barely missing utility poles. Once the vehicle was stopped, Gann was noted to be extremely intoxicated and could barely stand when he exited the car. He admitted to drinking at Hooters prior to driving. There was a handgun in the backseat, which had been reported stolen, and seven open beer cans. A search of the trunk revealed nine more open beer cans and a shotgun. Lastly, Gann’s license was revoked from a prior DUI in 2021. Gann proudly stated he was a member of C troop, 1st quad, of the 278th ACR of the Tennessee Army National Guard.
