On April 22nd, 26-year-old Nike Cullom was caught sleeping in a vehicle at a Powell Road residence. When officers arrived on the scene, they attempted to serve Cullom’s warrant at the residence but observed Cullom sleeping in the passenger side of a vehicle on the property. Officers immediately contacted Cullom and placed him in custody for motor vehicle theft. Which was what his warrant was initially for.
However, Officers searched Cullom and found a small tin container containing a small baggie with a white powdery substance. The substance was tested and weighed, confirmed to be cocaine, weighing in at 2 grams. Officers also searched Cullom’s backpack, where they found small sandwich-like bags. Cullom was then booked and charged with Simple possession, unlawful drug paraphernalia, and theft of a vehicle.
