Shalyn Phelps attacks & pepper-sprays man who backed into her car at Walmart

Police say 30-year-old Shalyn Phelps assaulted a man who backed into her vehicle at the Walmart Neighborhood Market on Whitfield Road on April 4. Phelps says Daniel Ritche carelessly backed into her car, and that’s when she exited her vehicle and began to bang on his truck windows. Ritchie exited his truck, and Phelps began to attack him, landing some punches to his face. When he pushed her away, she pepper-sprayed him. Officers documented blood and scratches on the victim’s face.

Crystal Smith pepper sprays another driver during road rage incident

34-year-old Crystal Nicole Smith was driving on Tobacco Road in November when the car in front of her, driven by Brianne Gonzales, slowed down due to mechanical issues. As the first car arrived home and pulled into her driveway, Smith was still upset and raging about the car’s slow speed and pulled into the driveway behind Brianne, who was a stranger to her. She then began yelling and screaming from her road rage, and Brianne approached her vehicle and told her to leave the property. Crystal retrieved her peppers spray and spayed it out her window onto Brianne, covering her with it before fleeing the scene. A warrant was issued for her arrest, and she was booked on it this week.

Raymond Wright faces felony aggravated assault charge after road rage incident

Clarksville Police say 51-year-old Raymond Wright was driving behind another vehicle Wednesday morning on Kraft Street at 8:30 a.m. and began to honk his horn at the vehicle in front of him. He then passed the car, and the car was concerned about his road rage and followed Wright to the Kroger at Dover Crossing to record his tag information. Both cars arrived at the Kroger and pulled near each other, and a verbal argument started between the Wright and the two individuals in the other car. Wright is then alleged to have exited his vehicle and tapped on the other driver’s window with a knife with the blade open in what she perceived to be a threatening manner. Officers retrieved a knife matching the given description from Wright’s vehicle. He is charged with felony aggravated assault.
