32-year-old Brittany Nicole Russell was found asleep behind the wheel of her vehicle at the intersection of 101st Airborne & Peachers Mill Road just after 2 a.m. Sunday. Officers arrived and placed the vehicle in park before waking her up. She was able to exit the vehicle but stumbled and was unsteady when standing. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was taken into custody for DUI. Officers say she also had an open container of alcohol in the center cup holder.
Brittany Nicole Russell, of Golfview Pl in Clarksville, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on July 24th, charged with driving under the influence (DUI) and violation of the open container law.
