23-year-old Felipe Gomez was found swerving lanes on 101st Airborne Division Parkway by police officers on the night of October 21st. When Officer Bolden walked up to the vehicle, Bolden noted Gomez’s bloodshot eyes as well as a strong odor of alcohol. When questioned, Gomez admitted to consuming alcohol before driving. This prompted law enforcement to search his vehicle, finding multiple open containers of alcohol. Gomez then consented to a field sobriety test, performed terribly, and was taken into custody. Gomez has been charged with driving under the influence and containing an open container of alcohol.

Traffic: Injury wreck at 101st & Peachers Mill
#TRAFFIC: The Clarksville Police Department is working a wreck with injuries on the 101st Airborne Division Parkway, Westbound between Peachers Mill Rd. and Ringgold Rd. The wreck occurred at approximately 10:26 am. and involved three vehicles, one of the injured is being life-flighted to Nashville.
The status of their injuries is unknown at this time. Investigators from the Fatal Accident Crash Team (FACT) are en route to process the scene. Westbound lanes of the 101st have been reduced to one lane and CPD is asking the public to find alternate routes until the roadway can be completely cleared.
$10,000 bond set for ounce of marijuana found during traffic stop — Jonathan Widney
Clarksville Police Department Officer Robert Schohn says he observed 22-yea-old Jonathan Widney speeding on 101st Airborne Division Parkway and conducted a traffic stop.
During the traffic stop for speeding, K9 Officer N. Rodriguez arrived, and Officer Schohn made Widney exit the vehicle and informed him he was going to deploy the K9 for an open-air search after Widney denied consent to search the vehicle previously during the traffic stop. Upon threat of the K9 deployment, Widney admitted there was an ounce of marijuana in the trunk. Widney was charged with felony possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $10,000.
Citizens block in suspected impaired driver until police arrive — Tommy Riddell arrested
Two concerned citizens blocked the vehicle of 22-year-old U.S. Army Soldier Tommy Riddell on the side of 101st Airborne Division Pkwy Sunday afternoon just after 3 p.m., one pulling in front, and the other pulling behind him, as they had noticed his erratic driving behavior and decided to prevent him from returning to driving on the roadway after they contained him near the side of the road.
Tommy Lee Riddell was booked into the Montgomery County Jail, charged with DUI and possession of a handgun while under the influence. He is free on a $3,000 bond.
