Cheyenne Maddox jailed on new Indictments related to child’s death

Earlier today, detectives with the Clarksville Police Departments Special Operations Unit arrested 32-year-old Cheyenne Dawn Maddox for Aggravated Child Abuse/ Neglect/ Endangerment of a child in relation to the death of 13-year-old Kadaris Maddox.

On July 6, 2022, at approximately 1:10 pm, Clarksville Police Department officers responded to a residence on Virginia Terrace where Kadaris Maddox was pronounced deceased following the arrival of first responders. Based on the investigation, the lead investigator, Detective Bryan Hughes, presented evidence to the August session of the Montgomery County Grand Jury, and an indictment was issued for Cheyenne Maddox. She was taken into custody today and booked into the Montgomery County Jail on a $75,000 bond.

Kenwood vice-principal Garry Chadwell forced teen to penetrate him sexually, per rape indictment

49-year-old Kenwood High School Assistant Principal & Athletic Director Garry James Chadwell was jailed Tuesday evening, charged with forcing a 17-year-old to penetrate him sexually. The indictment, a copy of which is in the story, alleges one count of forcing the child to penetrate him without the child’s consent, and another count of adding the statutory rape charge. Motorcyclist killed in Hollingwood Blvd crash overnight

At 11:45 pm on April 10th, Clarksville Police responded to a motorcycle crash on Hollingwood Blvd. A motorcyclist was traveling East on Tiny Town Rd. at a high rate of speed and went through the intersection at Trenton Rd., continuing onto Hollingwood Blvd. The rider failed to negotiate the curve and the motorcycle struck the curb and he was ejected into the trees. 16-year-old female shot inside vehicle on Raintree Drive

Clarksville Police report a 16-year-old female was found shot inside a vehicle on Raintree Drive at 11:20 p.m. Wednesday. She was a backseat passenger, and other passengers told police a person in a red car with black rims shot at them. She was life-flighted to Vanderbilt, and her status is unknown at this time.

Christopher Clark charged in murder of William Eakes, Jr., in Walmart shooting — Fort Campbell Blvd

On March 1st, at approximately 11:54 pm, the Clarksville Police Department responded to a shooting in progress call at Walmart, 1680 Ft. Campbell Blvd. At 12:11 am, officers located the suspect, 42-year-old Christopher Clark (white male), coming out of the woods behind Planet Fitness, 1600 Ft. Campbell Blvd.  Clark was taken into custody without incident. The victim has been identified as 55-year-old William Eakes Jr. (white male). At this time there is no known connection between Clark and Eakes.
