Campus Police bust APSU student Samuel Grigg with 33 grams of marijuana in dorm
18-year-old APSU Student Samuel Grigg is free on a $2,500 bond after Campus Police Officer Dustin Scroggins charged him with possession of 33.8 grams of marijuana in his dorm room. The campus housing authority had alerted police they believed drugs were in the dorm room. Officers say they smelled marijuana immediately upon arrival. Grigg admitted to possessing the green leafy goodness and was transported to jail.
42-year-old Precious Massey says she’s being harassed by teenager Shanyia Morris
42-year-old Precious Nicole Massey says she has demanded that 18-year-old Shanyia Morris cease contact with her. Despite that request, she says the teenager continues to send her “threatening” messages. Massey went before a judicial commissioner on July 6th and swore out a warrant for harassment on the teen, who was booked into custody this week.
Four Clarksville teens arrested in Nashville after TikTok Orbeez/Splat Gun Challenge on Broadway
Four Clarksville teens were arrested Saturday night after participating in the dangerous trending Nationwide TikTok Orbeez/Splat Gun Challenge. In the challenge, participants shoot unsuspecting people with gel-type pellets from Orbeez guns, some of which look like handguns and even rifles. They then post the videos on TikTok to share for engagement. Saturday night, four teens, including Ian Brown and Nashaud White, and two 17-year-old juveniles, shot the gel pellets from a moving Kia sedan on Broadway at unsuspecting people walking on Broadway. Once police stopped the vehicle, they also found an actual loaded (and stolen) handgun.
Public urination leads to underage driving while intoxicated charge — Zachery Harrison
Clarksville Police Sergeant Lisa Fatula says she observed 18-year-old Zachery Harrison drive into the Kohl’s shopping center parking lot, get out of his vehicle, pull down his pants, and let the urine flow through him and onto the parking lot. He then stumbled back to his vehicle and drove away. She initiated a traffic stop when and took him into custody for DUI. He blew a 0.153% BAC on a breathalyzer.
