A Tennessee TikTok duo with around 5 million combined fans across their platforms each found themselves in a Clarksville, TN, jail this week, only hours apart. The former lovers, 21-year-old Giovanna Linda Marie Dalessandro & 20-year-old Avery Noverra Holt, who lived together at Kirkwood Place, recently broke up, and ‘Gio’ returned to Texas. This week Gio returned with a posse that included his mother and a diva with alleged brass knuckles to retrieve some of his belongings, and things quickly escalated, landing three people in jail after police say Gio brandished a handgun and Gio’s mother says she was assault by Avery.
An arrest warrant was issued for Giovanna Linda-Marie Dalessandro, better known as Giovani1250 on TikTok where he has 1.4 million followers, and his Instagram @giovaniii1250, where he has another 124K fans, charging him with the felony domestic aggravated assault of Avery Holt. The warrant alleges Gio arrived and made threats to take everything in the apartment while reportedly grabbing the gun tucked into his waistband as if he were going to pull it out during the incident on August 1st just before 3 a.m.
He then reportedly punched Avery, and a fight broke out at the apartment among multiple parties. Deputies were able to view a private cell phone video that showed Gio pulling on his gun and pushing Avery at the same time in a threatening manner, giving them probable cause for the felony charge, and he was taken into custody. He was given a $20,000 bond, and after the state-mandated 12-hour hold for domestic violence, he posted bond (10% = $2,000) and was released from custody with bond conditions that prevent him from contacting, harassing, or communicating with Avery. His handgun was seized as evidence.
Other conditions restrict Gio from making any threats, from owning, using, or possessing a handgun, even with a permit, until the case is concluded, and restricts him from possession or consuming any alcohol while on bond. Montgomery County routinely revokes the bond of people they find drinking while out on an existing bond.
During the struggle, Gio’s mother, Juanita Dalessandro, says that Avery grabbed her by her arms and began to “aggressively push” her. She claims to have sustained bruising and scratches on her left arm. In Tennessee, this is considered a misdemeanor assault, and when it’s not witnessed by a police officer, the victim has to go before a magistrate as a ‘private prosecutor’; the state doesn’t press the charges. On the following day, she went and filed the assault complaint, and a misdemeanor warrant was issued for Avery’s arrest, for which he was booked and then released on a $1,000 bond (10% = $100).
The lease to the apartment was in the name of both individuals, and both were issued a notice to vacate by Friday, August 5th, as per a 3-day clause in the lease for violent and related situations. Famed lawyer to Nashville slumlords, Jennifer McCoy, is handing the case.
Both parties responded to requests about this story but declined to provide any full statements. Some minor details were provided as additional context to the existing affidavits.
In addition to the two arrests above, Nasir Christian Damont Beltran, of Kenridge Parkway in Decatur, GA, was also booked into the Montgomery County Jail on August 1st, charged with felony aggravated assault after he allegedly brought brass knuckles to the party and used them against Avery. Beltran reportedly rushed Avery, who kicked at him in self-defense. Beltran then reportedly forced Avery to the ground and punched him using brass knuckles. He was a part of Gio’s posse that came with him. Beltran goes by @ohhthatsbarbiee on Instagram, with around 6,000 followers. He was released on a $10,000 bond (10% = $1,000).
Arraignments will be held on August 8th for Gio and Nasir, and on August 9th for Avery in Montgomery County. All courts are open to the public, and anyone is welcome to attend the hearing in person. The initial hearing is only a formality, and nothing purposeful will happen on this day, however. The case will be reset for a date several weeks out.
