Clarksville Police responded to a domestic call at the Minit Mart on Peachers Mill Road on May 24th, and upon arrival observed 20-year-old Kirk Galbreath yelling at Madison Llewellyn, his girlfriend who is eight months pregnant. The argument was reportedly over a text message conversation she had with another male. Witnesses report he grabbed her by the arms and pushed her backward toward the vehicle repeatedly and eventually put her inside the vehicle before retrieving a handgun from the back of the vehicle and holding it by his groin. Officers did locate a .38 revolver in the vehicle, and Galbreath’s mother told police that he did place it in the vehicle and it was his gun.
Kirk Wendell Galbreath, of Dominion Dr in Clarksville, TN, was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on May 24th, charged with domestic assault and violation of bond conditions which prohibited him from being in possession of a firearm from a pending case. A commissioner set his bond at $30,000.
