Ka’Bari Carr assaults multiple officers in courthouse after they discover out-of-state warrant

20-year-old Ka’Bari Ja-Quez Carr had an altercation with officers at the courthouse in downtown Clarksville on July 11th. Officers were informed of Carr’s location outside the courtroom after confirming he had an outstanding warrant from another state for his arrest. Upon learning this, officers tried to detain him. Carr was sitting on a bench before suddenly jumping up and punching Corporal Rudder on top of his head. Then, Carr became resistive, pulling away from assisting officers and disregarding their commands. Carr also spat on Deputy Dennis, leaving saliva on his glasses. Rudder was transported via ambulance for further evaluation following the incident. The entire incident was recorded via security cameras. Carr was then taken into custody for two counts of assault on an officer and resisting arrest.

Calvin Gentry slaps girlfriend for asking him to move over in bed

26-year-old Calvin Gentry had a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Anijae Browder, at their Lafayette Road apartment on July 11th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Browder, who stated she was in bed with Gentry when she asked him to move over. However, Gentry refused, so she gathered her belongings to sleep upstairs. Then, Browder said he continued arguing with her and slapped her in the face. Gentry’s slap left a visible handprint on her face and neck. After officers noticed her sustained injuries, they obtained a warrant for his arrest. Gentry was then taken into custody for domestic assault.

Brayden “Bray2K” Collins of Diamond Crew assaults his girlfriend after taking her phone

21-year-old Brayden “Bray2K” Collins of Diamond Crew was involved in a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Cristi Britt, while at his Indian Creek Road residence on July 8th. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with Britt and noticed minor cuts on her leg. Britt informed officers that she and Collins had verbally argued in the car on the way to her house. She alleges the altercation began when Collins forcibly took her phone. Britt stated when she attempted to retrieve it, Collins shoved her in the face. Officers then approached Collins, who also had a noticeable cut on his leg. Collins also told officers that he and Britt were arguing inside the car. Collins was then deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault. Collins has a history of multiple charges, including but not limited to underage driving while impaired (DWI), resisting arrest, violation of probation, and failure to exercise due care.

DUI: Michael Watkins crashes car on South Riverside Drive, insists he only had two drinks

46-year-old Michael Watkins was involved in a single-vehicle car crash at South Riverside Drive on July 10th. When officers made contact with Watkins, he stated that while he was driving, a tractor-trailer hit him and drove away. During officers’ interaction with Watkins, they observed that he had a strong smell of alcohol coming from him. When Watkins was asked about it, he admitted that he had drunk alcohol eight hours before he drove. Watkins insisted that he only had two drinks. Watkins agreed to perform sobriety tests and performed poorly. Watkins was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence.

Kamryn White indicted by Grand Jury for selling Magic Mushrooms & Marijuana

A Montgomery County Grand Jury has indicted 18-year-old Kamryn White for two counts of a Schedule I drug violation and one count of a Schedule VI drug violation. The indictment alleges that between the dates of or near January 23rd and February 23rd, White was knowingly and unlawfully in possession and sold Psilocybin aka Magic Mushrooms which is a Schedule I controlled substance. The indictment also alleges that on or near February 29th, White was knowingly in possession of and intended to sell more than half an ounce of marijuana, which is a Schedule VI controlled substance. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $40,000.

Andrea Wilkerson destroys ex-boyfriend’s doorbell camera during altercation

40-year-old Andrea Wilkerson was seen vandalizing her ex-boyfriend’s doorbell camera at his Bauling Lane residence on July 7th. Officers received a call for a suspicious vehicle at the residence. When officers arrived they spoke with the victim. The victim, Wilkerson’s ex-boyfriend, claimed that she came over to his home and kept ringing his doorbell. The victim informed officers that when he did not answer the door, she pulled his doorbell camera off the front door frame and damaged it. The doorbell camera was valued at $100, and a warrant was issued for her arrest. Wilkerson was then found and taken into custody for vandalism on July 10th.

Lexus Lagbeneku trespasses at ex-boyfriend’s apartment despite being banned

26-year-old Lexus Lagbeneku was involved in a domestic incident with her ex-boyfriend at his Airport Place apartment on June 30th. When officers arrived, Lagbeneku’s ex-boyfriend told them that Lagbeneku was banned from his apartment on May 4th. Her ex-boyfriend added that she had appeared at his residence on June 30th. He provided officers with a video from his doorbell camera showing Lagbeneku at his doorstep. A warrant was taken out for her arrest that day. Lagbeneku was later taken into custody and charged with criminal trespass on July 10th.

Christopher Blankenship nearly gets run over while stumbling down Cumberland Drive

29-year-old Christopher Blankenship was seen almost getting hit by a vehicle on Cumberland Drive at 3:00 a.m. on July 9th. When officers made contact with Blankenship, they reported that they could instantly smell alcohol coming from Blankenship. Officers also noted Blankenship had other signs of intoxication as well. During their interaction, Blankenship admitted that he had just left a local bar and consumed four to five mixed drinks. Blankenship was deemed a danger to himself, so he was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Brianna Smith steals $1,014 worth of gift cards while working at Walmart in 2023

23-year-old Brianna Smith was observed to be fraudulently activating gift cards at her Walmart job On December 5th, 2023. On that day, A Walmart loss prevention officer reported that Smith had fraudulently activated $1,014.82 worth of gift cards between November 22nd, 2023, and November 24th, 2023. Officers also received video evidence showing Smith activating the cards in the report and receipts for the entire transaction. A warrant was issued for Smith’s arrest due to her involvement in the fraudulent gift card scheme. She was later found and taken into custody for property theft on July 8th, 2024.

Omar Stewart allegedly touches & kisses woman without consent at Wyatt Johnson Toyota

43-year-old Omar Stewart was allegedly seen assaulting Bethany Barrs at the Wyatt Johnson Toyota dealership on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard on June 25th. Barrs told police that when she was at the dealership shooting a video, Stewart approached her from behind and placed his hands on her lower back. Stewart then allegedly ran his hand up her back and into her hair. Once Barrs moved away from him, he pulled her back to him and attempted to kiss her. Barrs stated she pulled away from him again to avoid the kiss. However, Stewart was allegedly still able to kiss her on her neck. Barrs informed authorities that she had never met with Stewart before the incident and that the contact was unwanted. Omar Stewart was later taken into custody and charged with assault on July 8th.

Sophia August punches sister in face during argument about living situation

19-year-old Sophia August had a domestic incident with her sister, Lena August, at their Nolen Road apartment on June 7th. Lena told responding officers that Sophia had punched her in the face during an argument regarding their living situation. Lena added that this caused bruising to her left eye. Sophia left before officers arrived at the location. Officers obtained a warrant for her arrest. Sophia August was later taken into custody for domestic assault on July 8th.

Julian Simons drunkenly yells at police, tells them he’s homeless

19-year-old Julian Simons, an employee of Walmart, was found to be publicly intoxicated at the intersection of West Meadows Road and Post Road on July 8th. Police officers responded to a domestic disturbance near Maxwell Drive and encountered Simons and his vehicle at the intersection of West Meadows and Post Road. Officers spoke with Simons about an earlier incident and noticed the smell of alcohol on his breath. When questioned, Simons admitted to having consumed alcohol earlier. During the conversation with officers, Simons began yelling and making evasive movements. Simons claimed to be homeless and with nowhere to go. Officers determined he posed a risk to himself and was causing a public nuisance. Simons was then taken into custody for public intoxication.

Dominic Brown kicks girlfriend’s door down, drags her after she tells him to stop playing drums at night

29-year-old Dominic Brown had a domestic incident with his girlfriend, Kaitlynn Hartigan, at their Tobacco Road residence in the early hours of June 30th. Hartigan spoke with officers at her job, O’Charley’s, stating she came in early for her shift because of an altercation she and Brown had. She further explained that she asked Brown to stop playing drums late at night and returned to her room. In response, Brown kicked her door down, grabbed her arms, and dragged her out of the room. Then, after she threatened to call the police, he went into the bathroom, scratched his face, and told her if she did, he would tell them that she had scratched him. Officers could not reach Brown at the time. Officers observed Hartigan’s bruises and abrasions on her arm. Officers deemed Brown the primary aggressor and obtained a warrant for his arrest. Brown was later taken into custody for domestic assault on July 8th.

Kerry Brown charged after hiding handgun from police

21-year-old Kerry Brown was caught with a firearm at his Prewitt Lane residence on July 8th. When officers arrived at his home after a reckless endangerment call, they came into contact with Brown. Brown admitted that he removed the firearm and shell casings from the scene before they arrived. Further investigation revealed Brown pled guilty to a felony vehicle theft charge on December 2nd, 2022. A semi-automatic .380 caliber handgun was recovered from where Brown stated he stashed the gun. Brown was taken into custody for being a felon in possession of a firearm and tampering with evidence.

Dallas Austin punches girlfriend in face during argument over finances & infidelity

30-year-old Dallas Austin was involved in a domestic altercation with his girlfriend, Stephanie Kitchen, while at an Edmonson Ferry Road residence on July 14th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Kitchen, who stated that Austin, her boyfriend, had assaulted her. Kitchen claimed that they had an argument over finances and infidelity in the morning. Kitchen then claimed that when Austin woke up later in the day, he was angry and began punching her. Kitchen also informed officers that Austin had hit her several times in the arms and face. Officers observed bruises on Kitchen that were consistent with her statements of being assaulted. Austin was then deemed the primary aggressor.

Officers later made contact with Austin on Madison Street. Austin was then taken into custody for domestic assault. Officers searched Austin’s person and found a pill bottle containing folded paper with a green powdery substance. The powdery substance was later identified as fentanyl and weighed .5 grams. Austin was charged with domestic assault and simple possession/casual exchange.

DUI: Kandy Bradley swerves between lanes after drinking at The Thirsty Goat

52-year-old Kandy Bradley was observed driving recklessly near The Thirsty Goat on Highway 41A South on July 5th. Officers noticed the vehicle approaching the red light at McAdoo Creek and Highway 41A S then stopping. When the light turned green, officers observed Bradley’s vehicle quickly speeding off and driving at a high rate of speed in the number 2 lane. Bradley’s vehicle then activated their turn signal near Quail Hollow Road. The vehicle then turned right onto Quail Hollow, briefly entering the opposite travel lane before returning to the correct lane. Officers initiated a traffic stop and detected a strong smell of alcohol coming from Bradley upon making contact with her. When asked, Bradley admitted to officers that she had consumed two alcoholic drinks at The Thirsty Goat before leaving. Bradley was then asked to perform a sobriety test, which she agreed to. However, she performed poorly and showed numerous indicators of intoxication. Bradley was subsequently taken into custody for improper lane use and DUI.

Tiana Sigourney Bowlyn threatens husband with machete during argument

31-year-old Tiana Sigourney Bowlyn was involved in a domestic altercation with her husband, Markodean James, at their Peachers Mill Road on July 7th. James told officers that during an argument with Bowlyn, he pushed her out of the room she was in and locked the door. James stated that Bowlyn began kicking and banging on the door until James opened it. Once James opened it, he saw Bowlyn with a machete in her hand. Bowlyn grabbed James by his shirt and held the machete against him while yelling. James pushed Bowlyn back out of the room and locked the door again. When officers spoke with Bowlyn, she admitted to having the machete in her hand while she was trying to get back in the room. Bowlyn denied that she threatened James with the machete. Bowlyn was taken into custody and charged with aggravated domestic assault.

DUI: Patience Buries drives onto person’s front yard with 3 wheels after crashing her car

42-year-old Patience Buries was caught driving under the influence after a car accident at the intersection of Whitfield Road and Blakemore Drive on July 7th. Officers later found that the accident occurred near a home on Whitfield Road. When they arrived, they observed tire marks in the front yard of the residence. Officers spoke with the residents of the home who informed them that a white sedan had driven into their yard and taken off on three wheels. Officers also located a white rear bumper and a Toyota wheel with the tire on at the scene. Officers then searched the area and located a Toyota missing its left rear wheel as well as a rear bumper at a Prewitt Lane Apartment. Officers observed Buries standing near the vehicle and walking into the apartment near where the vehicle was. Officers then approached Buries, and immediately noticed her slurred speech, and watery eyes. Buries, while reeking of alcohol, admitted to officers that she was driving the vehicle. Officers observed Buries to have slow and lethargic movements before she admitted to consuming one to two alcoholic beverages of tequila in Nashville prior to driving home. Buries then performed sobriety tests; however, she performed poorly and showed numerous indicators of intoxication. Officers deemed Buries to be intoxicated, and she was then taken into custody for driving under the influence and leaving the scene with damage.

Rahemn Price stops traffic while chasing woman’s car because he wants to be her boyfriend

25-year-old Rahemn Price was involved in a domestic altercation with Taylor Williams, on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard on July 7th. Williams contacted law enforcement, telling them Price was following her car and was determined to be her boyfriend. Williams stated that after an argument with Price, she left the house, and he started chasing her. While Price followed Williams, he stopped traffic, exited his car, and banged on Williams’ driver’s side window to get inside. Williams stated Price also threw something at her car. Williams told officers that Price’s actions made her fear for her safety. When officers spoke with Price, he confessed that his actions were aggressive. Price was deemed the primary aggressor and then taken into custody for domestic assault.

Joyce Marie Spicer restrains 15-year-old daughter with zip-ties to make her take medicine

45-year-old Joyce Marie Spicer was involved in a domestic incident with her 15-year-old daughter at their Warren Drive residence on July 7th. When officers arrived, Spicer’s daughter told police that her mother pushed her down and tied her up with zip ties to make her take her medicine. Officers observed red abrasions on her wrist, consistent with the zip ties found at the residence. Spicer confirmed her daughter’s statements and stated that she had her restrained for five minutes. Spicer also told officers how she would leave her daughter zip-tied while she wasn’t at home. Spicer was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault and false imprisonment.
