Quinten Rhodes jailed after being caught driving on suspended license

31-year-old Quinten Rhodes was involved in a car crash at Windriver and Hazelwood Road at 1:36 p.m. on June 16th. When officers arrived at the scene of the crash, they observed a vehicle with dark windows showing 15 percent tint. The car involved in the crash had a sticker on the registration that did not belong to the vehicle, and the registration also expired last year. An investigation of Rhodes showed that he had a suspended driver’s license for failure to pay fines. Since Rhodes had a history of failing to appear in court, he was taken into custody for illegal window tint, driving on a suspended license, and driving an unregistered vehicle.

Celeste Bradford caught with marijuana after swerving on I-24 with revoked license

30-year-old Celeste Eugenea Bradford, a US Post Office employee, swerved in her blue Nissan sedan while traveling westbound on I-24 on June 2nd.  After noticing this, officers conducted a traffic stop on the Nissan. Officers noticed Bradford reeked of marijuana, which led to them searching her vehicle and locating marijuana, along with a grinder and rolling papers. When officers ran her information through NCIC, they discovered she had a revoked license and numerous FTAs, so they detained her. Bradford was taken into custody for simple possession, driving on a revoked license, and unlawful drug paraphernalia.

Aden Hamblin steals father’s GMC truck, leaves it at car wash after it catches on fire

20-year-old Aden Michael Hamblin stole his father’s GMC truck in the late hours of May 9th. On May 10th, around 2:04 a.m., officers arrived at American Car Washes Inc. on South Riverside Drive and observed the GMC Truck on fire with no driver nearby. After officers ran the VIN, the owner came back as Michael Hamblin. Officers then visited Michael’s Woodhaven residence and spoke with Lauren Elliott, Aden’s stepmother. Elliott stated that Aden had taken the truck earlier in the night without permission and informed him he needed to return it. Aden stated that he caught the tires on fire, which led to the truck going into flames. Aden added that he fled the area after this occurred. Officers then discovered Aden’s license had been suspended since April 19th, 2023. Michael’s GMC truck is worth approximately $12,500. Aden Hamblin was later taken into custody for contempt, driving on a suspended license, and theft of a motor vehicle on June 2nd.

Jaeden Buchanan caught driving on license suspended multiple times since 2021

23-year-old Jaeden Buchanan was caught driving on a suspended license at Needmore Road on December 8th. On the mentioned date, Buchanan was pulled over for a traffic stop because his taillights weren’t functioning. When the officer ran his license through the National Crime Information Center, they found that his license was suspended on June 20th, 2021, for failing to appear in court, January 1st, 2022, for failing to pay costs and fines, and November 17th, 2023, for accumulation of points.

Marcus Simpson harasses, threatens baby-mama over text

22-year-old Marcus Simpson was caught spamming the mother of his child, Alyssa-Anne Romero, with threatening messages. Romero constantly told Simpson to end all communication with her but refused and continued sending messages to her. Romero, afraid for her safety and the safety of her child, contacted the police. Simpson was taken into custody and charged with harassment.

Justin Barkey caught with marijuana in vehicle, blames girlfriend

22-year-old Justin Richard Barkey was stopped by police for a headlamp infraction on October 26th. Officers observed this, conducted a traffic stop, and noticed a strong odor of marijuana as they approached the driver’s side door. Barkey stated his girlfriend had been smoking marijuana, and the smell was on his clothes because of it. There was probable cause to search his vehicle, and officers located 14 grams of marijuana, a digital scale, cigarillos, 13 Vicodin pills, and a Glock 21 pistol. Officers later found that Barkey’s license was also suspended/revoked. Barkey was taken into custody for unlawful drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended/revoked license, simple possession, schedule VI drug violations, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.
