Kaitlyn Watson jailed after attempting to stab men through their door, found sleeping in chicken coop

29-year-old Kaitlyn Watson was involved in an armed robbery at the Cumberland Manor apartments on April 22nd. The victims, Mykel Wade and Lenar Marti contacted the police, stating that someone was banging and kicking at the door. Wade opened the door, and an unknown person wearing a black mask pulled out a black dagger and attempted to stab them. The masked intruder was able to shove the knife through the doorway, but Wade slammed the door, effectively causing her to drop the knife. The intruder fled the scene in a black Mustang, which was later located on Hay Market Road. Law enforcement was given consent to search the property and found a black dagger in the basement, which was identical to the one found on the scene. Watson was found in a chicken coop in the backyard and said she was napping. Watson was Mirandized and ended up admitting to being in possession of the Mustang. She, however, stated that she was on Forbes Avenue. A search warrant for her phone’s GPS location revealed that Watson’s phone was in the area of Riverwood Place at the time that the crime was committed. Kaitlyn Watson was taken into custody and charged with two counts of aggravated assault.

Antwain Goodner punches man after he crashed into his car

On April 22nd, 27-year-old Antwain Goodner was seen assaulting someone after a vehicle accident. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with the victim of the crime. The victim stated that after the crash, Goodner had walked over to his vehicle and made threats about hurting him. The victim then stated that he walked over to Goodner’s vehicle and asked if Goodner’s family was okay. The victim then claims that Goodner became even more enraged and was in his face, yelling that he was going to hurt him. The victim then noted that Goodner proceeded to turn around and punch him in the face, causing bruises. The victim claimed he tried asking Goodner to stop but he did not. Proceeding this, the victim got into the fetal position to protect himself from Goodner before being struck by Goodner in the back. Officers spoke with Goodner, who admitted that he did punch the victim in the face. Goodner stated he did it out of anger. Officers took Goodner into custody for Assault and Driving on a suspended or revoked license.

DUI: James Cosgrove drives on suspended license after using Lithium

40-year-old James Cosgrove was involved in an altercation late April 7th. When officers arrived, Cosgrove exited his car after driving to the Citgo gas station. Officers reported that Cosgrove was exhibiting multiple signs of intoxication, so they requested him to execute sobriety tests. Cosgrove consented to sobriety tests and performed poorly. After the sobriety tests, Cosgrove confessed to using Lithium and having a cocktail. Once he was placed in handcuffs, law enforcement found out that his license was suspended. James Cosgrove was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence and driving on a suspended license.

DUI: Micah Tomlin rear-ends woman on Highway 76 after driving on suspended license

31-year-old Micah Tomlin was involved in a car crash near Highway 76 on April 1st. Upon arriving at the scene, officers spoke to the crash victim. The victim stated while she was sitting stationary at a red light, Tomlin rear-ended her, causing severe damage to her vehicle. While speaking with Tomlin, officers noticed the odor of an alcoholic beverage and several other signs of intoxication. Tomlin consented to sobriety tests and performed poorly. Through further investigation, officers also found that Tomlin’s license had been suspended on November 12th, 2023. Officers took Tomlin into custody and charged him with driving under the influence, driving on suspended license, implied consent violation, driving with no insurance, and failure to yield on April 2nd.

Dajour Wreh caught with handgun,14 grams of marijuana after driving on suspended license

27-year-old Dajour Marrec Wreh was taken into custody for unlawful drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license, schedule VI drug violations, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony on March 24th.  At 11:45 p.m. on March 23rd, officers conducted a traffic stop on a gray Ford Explorer on Providence Boulevard. Officers observed the registered owner, Wreh, had a suspended license for failing to maintain proof of financial responsibility in December 2022. When officers approached the Explorer, they noticed Wreh reeked of marijuana, giving them probable cause to search the SUV. During the search, officers located a little over a half ounce of marijuana, 14.175 grams, a digital scale, an empty box of baggies, corner bags, US currency, and a Taurus handgun. Wreh’s money was seized in accordance with the Tennessee Drug Control Act. Wreh was detained and taken into custody on March 24th.

Alaska Williams speeds down Fort Campbell Boulevard on suspended license

27-year-old Alaska Williams was seen speeding in a Honda Civic at Fort Campbell Boulevard on March 10th. Williams was observed doing 57mph in a 45mph zone. A state trooper also observed Williams doing 74mph in a 45mph zone. When Williams was stopped, she informed law enforcement that she had a suspended license for failing to pay fines on December 29th, 2023. Williams also stated that she had the potential for a license if she set up a payment plan to pay her fines. Alaska Williams was taken into custody and charged with driving on a suspended license.

Layton Jackson charged with 5th DUI after being found asleep behind the wheel

42-year-old Layton William Jackson was found unconscious in the driver’s seat of his running vehicle, slumped over the center console on December 16th on N. Woodson Rd. Responding officers conducting a welfare check were able to awaken Jackson, who reeked of alcohol. Officers found five open containers of mini vodka bottles inside the vehicle. This is his 5th DUI, with prior convictions in 2008, 2014, 2014, and 2022.

28-year-old Kelsey Ann Campbell was working as a caregiver for a family when it was discovered she was writing checks from the elderly lady’s account to herself and cashing them. The victim’s daughter discovered the activity when she was given power of attorney over her mother’s finances. The total amount stolen was $200. She is free on a $45,000 bond.

Amir McCain (FlipPhoneShwty) jailed after fleeing police during April traffic stop

21-year-old Amir Shadon McCain, locally known as rapper FlipPhoneShwty) was jailed this week after being on the run for five months on multiple warrants, including a felony evading arrest/flight charge. In April, an officer was conducting a traffic stop on a Nissan Altima driven by McCain, and as he walked near the vehicle, McCain sped away and was able to evade police until they gave up the chase. Multiple warrants were issued for his arrest, and he was jailed on September 22nd after a new traffic stop for speeding. He is free on a $24,000 bond.
