21-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Colby Taylor-Hill crashed into another vehicle on the evening of April 27 on Fort Campbell Blvd and initially fled the scene, leaving the car damaged. A few minutes later, while police were out with the impacted vehicle, Colby called 911 to say he was in an accident and agreed to meet at the nearby store. Officers say he reeked of alcohol and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. He later blew a 0.128% BAC on a breathalyzer.

Police observed 23-year-old Soldier Michael Krusenoski swerving in and out of lanes from Providence Boulevard to Fort Cambell Boulevard near Old Mill Road, where they pulled him over for a traffic stop. As he stepped out of his white Dodge Charger, police saw the visible indicators of intoxication and could smell alcohol coming from his body. Police say 22-year-old Soldier Kenley Chadwick ran through a red light on Madison Street just before 4 a.m. on April 23. A traffic stop was conducted, and he was observed to be visibly intoxicated and reeking of alcohol. He stated he had “one beer” earlier in the evening and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. He was transported to booking and charged with driving under the influence after a brief stop at Sango ER for a blood draw.

25-year-old Paul Neal was the driver of a black sedan that witnesses say ran off the roadway on Fort Campbell Blvd on April 24, struck a pole, and then continued back onto the roadway. He adamantly denied any narcotic use and claimed he only “smoke a bowl of weed” today.

Soldier Antonio Carlisle charged with DUI on I-24

Police say 22-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Antonio Carlisle was found in his 2012 Volkswagen Golf on I-24 in the early morning hours of April 17, passed out behind the wheel when officers arrived. After multiple attempts, Carlisle was finally awoken, and he was in a state of confusion, not knowing where he was or what was happening. Through slurred speech, he admitted to drinking “one beer” an hour prior to driving. He alerted the officer to a loaded Glock 43x which he was holstered near his groin. It was retrieved, and Carlisle was taken into custody.

DUI: Weston Briggle had 4 beers and 2 shots before driving with 2 children in vehicle

39-year-old Weston Briggle was jailed on April 8th after he flipped his Kia on Mountain Road with two children inside. Police responded to the crash site and saw the Kia flipped on its roof and all passengers outside the vehicle. When police spoke to Briggle, they could smell alcohol coming from him, and his eyes were a bit bloodshot. There was an open container of Coors Light in the car, and police asked Briggle if he had consumed any alcohol which he replied that he had at least four beers and two shots within the last hour. He agreed to sobriety tests, performed poorly, and was transported to booking. He had his three-year-old child and his girlfriend’s 14-year-old daughter in the car with him during the crash.

31-year-old Tyler Feightner drove his truck onto a sidewalk at a Royster Lane apartment complex just after 4 p.m. on March 20. Residents noticed he was passed out behind the wheel of the running vehicle, and officers arrived on the scene. Multiple sternum rubs awakened Feightner, though he was still unable to speak, stand, or have any idea of where he was — he eventually told officers he was in Nashville and on his way to Clarksville. There was an empty Four Loko bottle in the cup holder, and he told officers he had “two beers about two hours ago” when asked. He refused field sobriety tests and told officers he would fight if they tried to draw his blood. A warrant was granted, and blood was taken.

23-year-old Tiondra Lay was found hanging out the side of her car in the Zaxby’s on Fort Campbell Blvd at 1 a.m. Wednesday. Officers arrived to check on her welfare and noted she was unresponsive behind the wheel with the car in drive and music blaring from the speakers. After a few attempts, she became alert and attempted to drive the car forward before it could be placed out of gear. She stated she had “five to seven shots of Hennessy Black” at her sister’s house prior to driving. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests and later blew a 0.171% BAC on a breathalyzer.

Jeremy Gayer charged with DUI, driving on revoked license

42-year-old Jeremy Gayer was arrested for driving drunk with a revoked license at 101st and Whitfield Rd on Mar 4th. Gayer was seen stumbling behind his vehicle on the shoulder of the road. When police asked where he was coming from, he told them he had been in Springfield having a few drinks and was just trying to make it home. Gayer smelled strongly of alcohol and had bloodshot watery eyes. He agreed to sobriety testing, which he performed poorly on, and it was discovered that his driver’s license had been revoked since 2021 for a prior DUI.
