22-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Jamelin Love became violent after screaming at his wife. While Love’s wife was in the closet, he got into her face and began yelling at her. Love then turned his wife around and placed her into a headlock, causing visible red marks. She later told the police that he was trying to choke her and that she couldn’t breathe. Love was taken into custody and charged with aggravated domestic assault.

Jevon Avontae Poe scratches girlfriend during argument

22-year-old Jevon Poe was at Queen City Beauty College on Fort Campbell Boulevard on November 10 when he was dropping off his girlfriend. The two had been arguing, and as she left the car, he scratched her chest, which left visible scratch marks on the left side of her chest. Poe was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.

Alexis Short assaults family, bites her mother during dispute

21-year-old Alexis Short believed that her boyfriend was being promiscuous on November 12 when her mother, Holly Donahue, tried to console her but only made her angrier. Donahue, seeing this, removed her child from the area because everyone involved was intoxicated. Short then began to push her mother and her brother, biting her mother on the hand, leaving a mark. Short briefly left the area before deputies could arrive, but moments later, she returned to the house and was taken into custody but was later released under Conditions of Release. Sometime after, an officer committed a traffic stop. While running her information through the records, they confirmed that she had an active COR prohibiting her from having contact with her juvenile brother. Despite this, her brother was the other party in the passenger seat with her. Short was taken into custody and charged with two counts of domestic violence and a COR violation.

Tyshawn Sneed hits girlfriend in the head during argument

25-year-old Tyshawn Sneed was booked on November 3rd after complaints of a domestic altercation on Woody Hills Drive. Destiny Hill stated that she and her boyfriend were arguing when he began walking toward her aggressively. At that point, she began scratching at his face, and he struck her in the head. Police observed scratches on Mr. Sneed’s neck and face. Ms. Hill had no apparent injuries. The complainant, Gweyn Wedlaw, told police that the argument and physical altercation between Mr. Sneed and Ms. Hill was very much mutual. Officers determined both parties to be the primary aggressor and were both booked. There is a history of domestic assault between the couple.

Tyler Towne strangles, assaults girlfriend on floor during dispute

25-year-old Tyler Towne was booked on an outstanding warrant from 2019 when he assaulted his ex-girlfriend after an argument turned hostile. On November 4th, 2019, Candace Richardson reported that a few days prior, on Halloween night, she had returned home to find Mr. Towne sitting in the living room drinking alcohol. They argued over their living situation as they were separated but living in the same home. Mr. Towne then got in her face and began yelling and screaming while backing Ms. Richardson into a corner. She pushed him to get him away, he pushed her back, and they started fighting on the floor. Mr. Towne then began strangling Ms. Richardson. Once he let her go, she ran and locked herself in a room. The following day, she packed her things and moved out. She advised that she didn’t call the police that night because she was too afraid, but once she saw the bruises she acquired from the assault, she felt she needed to report it. Officers observed bruises on Ms. Richardson’s arms, and a warrant was issued for Mr. Towne.

35-year-old Janay Spann was caught abusing her child on school grounds on November 6th. Spann was captured by surveillance footage and an eyewitness hitting her 15-year-old daughter in the face with a closed fist as well as grabbing her by the neck and pushing her toward the school. 35-year-old Alexandria Moody found her child in a fight with her cousin at Governor’s Square Mall on October 28. Moody’s cousin and child started arguing and decided to take the argument outside, where Moody was sitting in her vehicle. They both had a mutual agreement to engage in a fight when Moody exited her vehicle and assisted her child, hitting her cousin in the face. Moody was taken into custody and charged with domestic violence.

Cherika Kelly and her child break into woman’s home, attempt to taser her

36-year-old Cherika Kelly and her children got into a confrontation with Brichelle Ellis and her children on November 5th. After that altercation, Kelly and her juvenile child appeared at Ellis’s residence and sparked another dispute. Kelly and her child entered the home despite Ellis telling them they could not. Kelly entered and pulled out a taser with which she attempted to taser Brichelle. Kelly’s child swung at one of Ellis’s children to hit her. After the confrontation ended, Kelly and her child left to go across the street to hide. Kelly was taken into custody and charged with aggravated burglary.

Tammera Lee drunkenly assaults woman, breaks into her apartment

44-year-old Tammera Megan Lee was seen on Lora Smith’s ring camera at 325 Farrow Circle taking her Halloween decorations on October 15th. The decorations are valued at $70.00, and Lee was taken into custody for theft on November 3rd.
On November 7th, in an unrelated incident, Lee called the police, alleging that child neglect was occurring at Michelle Bolding’s residence on Farrow Circle. Officers arrived and noticed Lee was visibly intoxicated with an open wine bottle nearby. They investigated the claims and were not able to find anything suggesting child neglect. After the officers left, Bolding called 911, stating that Lee just assaulted her inside of her home. When officers arrived and spoke with Bolding, Lee was not present, but she walked back to the scene, slightly out of view, before advising that she walked to the residence shortly after the authorities departed. Then, Lee stated that Bolding and her child came outside and assaulted her in the driveway. Lee was very frantic, with visible injuries, ignoring the officer’s questions, and refused to comment when they asked why she came back to the residence after being assaulted. Bolding stated that after the officers left, Lee knocked on her door and refused to leave or shut the door when she told her to. Then, Lee pounded on the door, so Bolding opened it to address her, but she threw the wreath off the front door into the apartment, forcing her way in, and began attacking her. Lee reportedly threw her phone at Bolding before she pushed her out of her apartment. Then, Lee grabbed her shirt, pulled her out of the door, and punched her in the face. Bolding said that this was when her son came out to assist her, shoving Lee out of the way before closing the door. Lee was taken into custody for aggravated burglary and public intoxication.

39-year-old Justin Napper was jailed on November 8th after assaulting his wife on Ringgold Road. Ashley Glasman told police that on October 31st, she and her husband had gotten into a fight about the cats in the house. Glasman advised that Napper tried to hit the cats with the baseball bat. He ended up missing and destroying the cat tree. Ashley then tried to stop her husband from hurting the cats but was hit and strangled. She had marks on her lips and arms. She described the strangulation as a “rear naked choke,” an MMA maneuver often seen in the UFC.

25-year-old Kali Nettles was jailed on November 8th for assaulting her mother after she showed up at her house unexpectedly. When officers arrived on the scene, they observed Tyra Nettles-Bentley on top of her daughter in the front yard. She appeared to be restraining her. The officers separated the two and asked Tyra what happened. She said she came by to check on her daughter, Kali Emonie Nettles because she was concerned about her well-being. Tyra admitted that she hit Kali back, and they ended up in the backyard, where officers found them upon arrival. Tyra had cuts on her arms and her left eye, which needed medical attention.

33-year-old Austin Rehfield was booked on November 8th after trespassing at Gold’s Gym on Needmore Road the day before. An employee advised that on November 3rd, Rehfield was banned from the gym. When he showed up again on the 7th, the employee asked him to leave. Rehfield asked the employee his name and said he would “come find him.” He left the location as soon as the employee called the police.

James Heggie runs over car wash employee during dispute

74-year-old James Horace Heggie was booked on November 8th after intentionally hitting a Take 5 Car Wash employee with his truck on Madison Street. Antonio Rivera advised that he and Heggie had gotten into a verbal dispute in regard to property in the bed of Heggie’s truck while he was trying to go through the car wash. During the dispute, Rivera asked Heggie to leave the property several times. The argument moved from the office to the parking lot near Heggie’s truck. Rivera advised that Heggie then reversed and hit him with his truck. Heggie told officers he wasn’t aware that Rivera was behind his truck. He thought he had walked off and believed Rivera intentionally got behind the truck to be hit. Video surveillance showed Heggie getting into his truck, looking up, observing Rivera behind the vehicle, and proceeding to back up. Heggie was placed into custody for aggravated assault.

50-year-old Dustin Waikel came home extremely intoxicated at around 5 a.m. on November 8th and assaulted his wife, Sadia Waikel. Sadia told officers that he had already been drinking all night, but when he saw her, he began to punch her in her broken hip as well as her chest. Waikel was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.

DUI: Emily Trageser speeds down Highway 76 in BMW

43-year-old Emily Trageser was found by officers in a silver BMW speeding on Highway 76 on November 7th. Trageser was caught doing 79 MPH in a 50 MPH zone. When they made the traffic stop, the officer observed that she showed many signs of being intoxicated, one of them being the smell of alcohol coming from her. Trageser told the officer that she had some wine 2 hours before the traffic stop, so they asked her to perform field sobriety tests as well as a breathalyzer, which she performed poorly on both. Trageser was taken into custody and charged with DUI and speeding.

DUI: Lindsey Campbell drinks whiskey before driving

34-year-old Lindsey Campbell was found on the scene of a wreck without injuries at Denny Road and Highway 41 A Bypass on November 7th. When Officer R. Swanson confronted Campbell, he observed that she seemed heavily intoxicated, and she advised that she had drunk some whiskey. Campbell then consented to perform some field sobriety tests as well as a blood draw. Campbell has a history of DUI charges, one in 2014 and another in 2019. Campbell was taken into custody and charged with her third DUI.

Bianca Frias jailed for violating bond conditions of drinking alcohol at her home again

30-year-old Bianca Frias was booked, once again, for violating her COR, which prohibits her from consuming or being in possession of alcohol. On November 7th, officers responded to Silver Fox Lane to find Ms. Frias drunk in a running Honda Civic that was parked in her driveway. Officers were able to easily identify Ms. Frias due to previous arrests. When officers made contact with Ms. Frias, they immediately noticed the odor of alcohol and asked Ms. Frias to perform sobriety tests. The officers reviewed Ring doorbell camera footage that showed Ms. Frias returning home with her four-year-old daughter, proving that she was driving her vehicle while drunk. She was taken into custody, and a warrant for a blood sample was issued. The four-year-old daughter was left in the care of her father. Ms. Frias has a a history of charges pertaining to alcohol.

Austin Mellender breaks into girlfriend’s house, assaults her

19-year-old Austin Mellender was at his girlfriend’s house when her mother asked him to leave. Mellender’s girlfriend got him out of the house and locked him out. This caused Mellender to become enraged and yank the door open, which caused damage to the door. Once inside, he assaulted his girlfriend and exited the house before law enforcement arrived. Mellender came into contact with law enforcement and refused to meet with them. Mellender was taken into custody and charged with aggravated burglary. Austin Mellender has a history of charges including: fraud, felony theft, simple possesion, evading arrest, etc.
