34-year-old Luis Rosas was pulled over in his back Dodge Avenger for having non-functional tag lights at the intersection of Crossland Avenue and Greenwood Avenue on August 2nd. Officers made contact and noticed a strong odor of alcohol as they approached Rosas. Officers then prompted Rosas with sobriety tests. Rosas consented to the sobriety tests but performed poorly on them, so he was taken into custody. During an arrest search, officers found an open container of alcohol and two closed containers in the back seat of his car. Officers also found three THC vapes, a grinder containing a green leafy substance, and rolling paper. Rosas was then transported to booking and charged with simple possession, unlawful drug paraphernalia, and driving under the influence.

Enoch Moss indicted by Grand Jury for possessing over half an ounce of marijuana
A Montgomery County Grand Jury has indicted 25-year-old Enoch Moss for possession of marijuana, possession of more than half an ounce of marijuana, possession of a firearm as a felon, casual exchange, and possession of drug paraphernalia on or about September 30th, 2023. The indictment alleges that Moss had possession of this drug to sell or produce more. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $30,000.
Kelvin Corbett Jr jailed after officers find 14 grams of marijuana in his car
25-year-old Kelvin Corbett was caught with drugs near the Paddock Place apartment complex on Union Hall Road on June 18th. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle with suspected illegal window tint and a tinted license plate cover. As officers approached the car, they could smell a strong odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. Corbett, who was the driver, was then asked to exit the car, in which Corbett admitted to officers that there was marijuana and a scale inside the vehicle. Officers then proceeded to search Corbett, where they located an iPhone. Officers then conducted a search of the car, discovering a black backpack that contained suspected marijuana, a box of sandwich bags, a digital scale, two packs of rolling papers, five packs of cigars, eleven plastic bags with residue, a tray with residue, two lighters, and two plastic cups. A portion of the suspected marijuana was tested and came back positive for THC and had a weight of 14.175 grams. Corbett was then taken into custody for a Schedule VI drug violation and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Calvin Jackson caught stealing bag with $1,500 inside at Laundromat
52-year-old Calvin Robert Jackson was identified as responsible for a burglary at the New Providence Super Laundromat on May 17th. On June 12th, officers obtained footage showing Jackson entering behind the employee’s area, looking for a bag. During this time, he picked one up and threw it back down. Then, it showed him grabbing a bag from underneath it that employees stated had $1,500 inside. A warrant was then issued for his arrest. Jackson was then taken into custody for burglary on June 13th.
Erika Watson caught stealing inside of woman’s home
42-year-old Erika Watson was caught stealing items inside Darlene Cerda’s Evans Road residence on April 16th. Cerda contacted law enforcement and stated that there was a white female inside her home who did not have permission to be inside. Officers arrived and located Watson, and brought her outside. When Watson was initially placed into custody for trespassing, a search of her person revealed a stolen wallet containing documents belonging to Cerda’s daughter. Watson was also in possession of a glass pipe with burnt residue and several plastic baggies. Erika Watson was taken into custody and charged with aggravated burglary and unlawful drug possession.
Joel Demon charged with punching girlfriend in face
35-year-old Joel Demon was jailed earlier this month after assaulting his girlfriend, Jean Utley, who also makes frequent appearances on the booking log. She says he punched her in the face on April 2, placing her in fear. Officers documented visible injuries to her face and located Demon a short distance away from their Wilma Rudolph Blvd. hotel room. He also had drug paraphernalia on him at the time of his arrest.
Two jailed after child found unresponsive inside drug house — Brianna Smith & Jonathan Deutschmann
23-year-old Brianna Smith & 31-year-old Jonathan Deutschmann were jailed after a 911 call was placed on March 29th, reporting her child was unresponsive in their bedroom at their home on Edmonson Ferry Road. Medics transported the unresponsive young child to Tennova, and DCS was notified. They consented to a search of the home, where drugs were found in the couple’s bedroom, where they stay with the child, and in the basement, where Deutschmann operates a tattoo studio. Seized items included cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, 2.8 grams of Fentanyl, Oxycodone, marijuana, $2,105 in currency, pipes, rolling papers, grinders, digital scales, burnt foil, and more. The couple was taken into custody, each given a $75,000 bond. There has not been an update on the condition of the child.
Kyro Quinto swallows cocaine and regurgitates it during traffic stop
29-year-old Kyro Quinto was jailed on March 21st after swallowing a bag of cocaine when police pulled him over on Providence Boulevard and Oak Street. As officers approached Quinto during the traffic stop for an illegal u-turn, they noticed a pink baggie on the passenger’s seat. Quinto took the baggie of suspected cocaine, put it in his mouth, and swallowed it. Officers asked Quinto what he just swallowed, and he ended up throwing it back up. They tested the regurgitated substance, which was positive for cocaine, totaling 3.6 grams. Under the driver’s seat was a Glock 19, and a pink bag with marijuana. A black back was located on the floor in the second row with $1,710. There was a blue bag containing Xanax.
Cheyenne Seefeldt charged with felony marijuana possession – $20K bond
19-year-old Cheyenne Seefeldt was a passenger in a car with three others on March 19 when an officer made a traffic stop after observing the car traveling at 43 mph in a 20 mph zone on Donna Drie. During the traffic stop that followed, officers said they could smell marijuana, and a search of the vehicle was conducted. A felony amount of marijuana was discovered, along with digital scales and sandwich bags. No one in the car claimed the drugs, so all four were charged using constructive possession. Other occupants were KaLisa Smith, Davion Dozier, and Toussaint Hagewood.

Jhaquintes Johnson indicted in Clarksville’s largest cocaine distribution racket
22-year-old Jhaquintes Demarcus Johnson has been indicted by a March Montgomery County Grand Jury on multiple charges stemming from 2022 drug activity. On September 21, he was found with 180 grams of cocaine, marijuana, multiple loaded firearms, and more than $5,000 in cash on Shearor Street in Clarksville, along with drug paraphernalia – including baking soda, sandwich bags, a razor blade, a grinder, cup with residue, cigarillos, a pipe, digital scales, a rolling tray, and a pill bottle. He flushed drugs down a toilet during a raid that day and possessed a firearm. During the raid, he was also found to possess N-Cyclohexyl Methylone, an analogue of Methylone, a controlled substance, along with Oxycodone, crystal methamphetamine, and amphetamine.

38-year-old Stevie Leonard Kelly has been indicted by a March Montgomery County Grand Jury on multiple charges stemming from 2022 drug activity. Detectives say that, along with others, he conspired to sell more than 300 grams of cocaine between July and September. On August 27, he conspired to purchase a kilogram of cocaine from Anthony Powell. On September 21, he was found to possess over 100 grams of cocaine and $10,000 in cash on Shearor Street, along with a microwave, baking soda, spoons, a razor blade, a rolling tray, sandwich bags, a vacuum sealer with bags, and rolling papers. He is also accused of flushing drugs down a toilet on that day, along with possessing a firearm as a convicted felon.
Anthony Powell indicted in Clarksville’s largest cocaine distribution racket
43-year-old Anthony Dewayne Powell has been indicted by a March Montgomery County Grand Jury on multiple charges stemming from 2022 drug activity. Detectives say that, along with others, he conspired to sell more than 300 grams of cocaine between July and September.
Powell reportedly delivered a bulk amount of cocaine to Floyd Johnson on July 6 on East College Street in Clarksville. He also sold a kilo of cocaine to Floyd Johnson and Stevie Lelly at Verkler Drive on July 22. He then made another sale to Johnson on August 27th on Roan Drive. On September 2, he made another sale of cocaine on Fort Campbell Blvd. He also sold and delivered cocaine to Floyd Johnson in Pleasant View on September 3rd. Powell reportedly sold another kilogram of cocaine to Floyd Johnson on September 6 in Clarksville.
On September 13, detectives say Powell possessed a kilogram of cocaine and $5,000 in cash, along with crystal methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia such as digital scales and cigarillos.
Floyd Johnson indicted in Clarksville’s largest cocaine distribution racket
37-year-old Floyd Rodriguez Johnson has been indicted by a March Montgomery County Grand Jury on multiple charges stemming from 2022 drug activity. Detectives say that, along with others, he conspired to sell more than 300 grams of cocaine between July and September. Johnson reportedly delivered cocaine to Christopher George Douglas Coleman on Shearor Street on July 5th. He conspired to buy a kilogram of cocaine from Anthony Powell on East College Street on July 6th. He then delivered cocaine to another party on July 7 on Peachers Mill Road.
He then conspired to buy a kilogram of cocaine from Anthony Powell and Domonique Powell on East College Street on July 14. He then sold cocaine to another person on Shearor Street on July 18. Floyd, along with another person, then conspired to buy a kilogram of cocaine from Anthony Powell on Verkler Drive on July 22. On July 26, he made another cocaine sale on Shearor Street to Erica Vashane Kelly, and again on August 14. Johnson then bought another kilogram of cocaine on East College Street on August 15. On August 19, he made another sale of cocaine to Christopher Winters on Shearor Street.
A day later, he sold and delivered cocaine to Shemar Wesley on Shearor Street. On August 27, he conspired to purchase a kilogram of cocaine from Anthony Powell. On September 3, Johnson and another person conspired to purchase another kilogram of cocaine from Anthony Powell and Antonio Powell. On September 6, he reportedly bought a kilogram of cocaine from Anthony Powell. Days later, on September 10, he purchased another kilogram of cocaine from Anthony Powell. Johnson made another sale of cocaine on September 21. On that same day, he was found to possess over 100 grams of cocaine and $10,000 in cash on Shearor Street, along with a microwave, baking soda, spoons, a razor blade, a rolling tray, sandwich bags, vacuum sealer with bags, and rolling papers. He is also accused of flushing drugs down a toilet on that day, and possessing a firearm while being a convicted felon.
