Ian Donovan pushes wife, twists her arms during assault, per report

36-year-old Ian Donovan was arrested on October 16th after he assaulted his wife and reportedly left visible marks on her a couple of days prior. On October 14th, officers responded to a domestic incident that had already happened at a residence on Liverworth Road. The victim, Jessica Donovan, had fled the residence to her sister’s home on Maureen Drive following the altercation. Mrs. Donovan told police that her husband had pushed her multiple times before she was forced to the ground.

After that, Mrs. Donavan stated that she attempted to push him away, but he grabbed her arm and twisted it behind her back. Shortly after that, she fled the residence at Liverworth to her sister’s home due to fear for her life. Deputies on the scene stated that it didn’t appear Donovan had any noticeable injuries. Police attempted to make contact with Mr. Donavan, but he was unresponsive. Due to one party’s statement being made and police being unable to hear the other side, a warrant was issued, and Ian was taken into custody.

Tovio Hardy “bucks up” on stepson, assaults him with cane

56-year-old Tovio Hardy was arrested for a domestic assault on October 16th after he and his stepson, Maurquel “Keno” McCottry, got into a physical altercation at his Kirby Drive address. McCottry stated that he arrived at the residence due to his stepsister no longer feeling comfortable due to arguments she had with Hardy. McCottry states that Hardy met him at the door and “bucked up” towards him before hitting him multiple times with his cane. The victim then states he was forced to tackle Hardy backward down the stairs to keep himself from being attacked further. Ms. Hardy, the defendant’s daughter, had advised she had intervened to stop the fight.

Hardy states that McCottry arrived and began banging on his door, demanding to know where Ms. Hardy was. The defendant then states that he let him into the home where the fight began, with Hardy being forced to hit his stepson with his cane. While doing so, Hardy states that the victim tackled him down the staircase, forcing him to shove McCottry off of himself. No marks were noticed on the victim, and the defendant had abrasions on his elbow. Due to both parties alleging physical assault and no primary aggressor being determined, both parties were charged with domestic assault.

Jasmine Gross spits on husband multiple times, tries to drag him from house

36-year-old Jasmine Gross was jailed on October 15th after reportedly assaulting her husband at their home on Eldos Trace Circle. When police arrived, Jasmine told them she wanted her husband out of the house and wanted a divorce. Thurman Gross told police that he and his wife were arguing, and she stated she wanted him gone. She then went downstairs about two feet away from him and spat on him. She got closer and spat on him again. Thurman stated his wife spat on him approximately six times, followed by trying to forcefully remove him from the house by pulling his shirt and ripping it off of him. Officers found the ripped shirt in the trash and placed Jasmine into custody.

Daequan Walton charged with DUI after “one beer and one shot”

21-year-old Daequan Walton was jailed on October 15th after driving his vehicle off the road. Officers responded to the intersection of Swift Drive and Charlotte Road, where Walton stated that he was traveling when he received a phone call, took his eyes off the road as he answered, and ended up running off the road and crashing. Police observed Walton visibly intoxicated, and he admitted to drinking one beer and one shot. He consented to sobriety testing, performed poorly, and was taken into custody.

50-year-old Betsy Caudle was jailed Sunday after assaulting her husband on Verisa Drive. When officers arrived, they observed a significant amount of injury to Tyrone Caudle’s face. He advised that he and his wife went to eat at Casa Blanca, where she had too much to drink. She began punching and scratching him in the face and tried to break his glasses.

31-year-old Jahleel Tyree was arrested for vandalism on October 14th. Officers were dispatched to Monica Dr. regarding a domestic disturbance. Officer Tyree arrived and spoke with Tyree, who stated that his girlfriend, Breonna Stanley, slashed his tire and threw a lamp at him after an argument regarding infidelity ensued. Stanley stated she threw his Macbook outside and broke it as well as slashed his tire as he broke her tobacco bong. Tyree admitted to breaking her $150 “tobacco” bong.

Maurquel ‘Keno’ McCottry jailed after fight with stepfather

26-year-old Maurquel “Keno” McCottry was arrested for domestic assault on October 16th. Officers were dispatched to Parkway Place for a call regarding a domestic dispute. McCottry spoke with officers after they arrived and told them that he went to his stepdad, Tovio Hardy’s house on Kirby Dr. to pick up his sister, Olivia Hardy, after she texted him saying she was not comfortable being in the same house as Tovio due to arguments between the two. McCottry then stated that as he arrived at Kirby Dr., Tovio met him at the door and “bucked up” on him before hitting him multiple times with a cane, leading to a physical altercation. Officers were told that McCottry had to tackle Tovio down a set of stairs to prevent him from attacking him. Olivia stated that she intervened in the scuffle but was not there to witness the initial altercation.

Officers then spoke with Tovio at Kirby, who stated that McCottry arrived at his home earlier in the night, banging on his door and demanding to know where his sister was. Tovio told officers that when he let McCottry in, he shoved him, which initiated the physical altercation. Officers were advised that Tovio was tackled down the stairs after using the cane to defend himself from McCottry. Tovio stated that abrasions on his back were sustained from the push down the steps.

Officers were unable to determine the primary aggressor, so both parties were taken into custody.

31-year-old Justin Davis was arrested on October 16 after he pulled a knife on an employee from Gold Exchange and Loan Company on Madison Street. Davis was angry because Giovanni Mejia refused to conduct a transaction with him and threatened to harm him the next time they met. The argument escalated further until Davis pulled a knife. An officer responded to the call at a residence on Sage Meadow Lane on October 15, when the victim stated he and his ex-girlfriend had been arguing when she punched him. Officers observed Steele to be visibly intoxicated and advised him to either get a ride home, or he would be arrested. Steele stated, “Just take me to jail.”

Marshall Arms jailed on outstanding warrant, breaks sprinkler system in jail cell

A warrant was issued in early August for 33-year-old Marshall Arms after he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend, Victoria, when she refused to use the last of their money on drugs. According to the victim, Arms struck her with an open palm and ripped some of her clothes while fighting on the ground. He then fled the scene before officers arrived.

The outstanding warrant was served on September 28, and Arms was brought into custody. During his stay in the Montgomery County Jail, Arms reportedly broke part of the fire suppression system and caused flooding throughout the unit. Marshall was the only person in the cell at the time and received an additional charge of vandalism.

Jevell Rucker charged with marijuana after window tint traffic stop

30-year-old Jevell Rucker was pulled over on September 28 just after midnight when officers stated that they could not see into the car through the tint of his windows. While the officer initiated their emergency equipment around mile marker 11.8, they stated that the vehicle came to a stop at Exit 4 Westbound I-24.

When the officer approached the window, they alleged that there was a strong marijuana smell coming from the car. A search of the center console found six grams of marijuana and that Rucker was the only occupant of the car. The officer also claims that the window tint was not legal after being tested with a tint card and window tint meter.

Rucker was booked for evading arrest, simple possession, a window tint violation, and out-of-county warrants that were discovered after the fact.

Nichole Jones jailed for shoplifting and violation of probation warrant

32-year-old Nichole Jones was served a warrant for violation of probation while shopping inside a Dollar General. When officers made contact inside the store, Jones admitted to concealing multiple items with the intent to steal them. A manager was notified and scanned the items, which came out to $58. After the warrant was confirmed through the National Crime database, Jones was further charged with theft of property.

Kelly Leo Desir jailed after lying to police about stolen laptop for insurance claim

27-year-old Kelly Leo Desir reported that his Macbook Pro was stolen out of his vehicle on June 11th and filed an insurance claim with USAA stating his property was stolen. On June 26th, Desir sent a photo of the “stolen” laptop to USAA for their investigation. Their investigators used the embedded metadata from that photo to determine it was actually taken after the laptop was supposedly stolen. He admitted to the USAA investigator that the laptop was in a repair shop and was not stolen. USAA turned those transcripts over to police, who issued a warrant for Desir’s arrest.

Tyler Walters charged with vandalizing sister’s car after argument

Police were called to an incident on September 25th where 25-year-old Tyler Walters and his sister Nichole Walters were in a verbal argument. After it began escalating, Tyler Walters reportedly slammed his car door repeatedly into his sister’s vehicle, striking her fender and causing less than $1,000 in damages. A warrant was issued, and Tyler Walters was taken into custody on Sep. 28.

Angela Smith charged with stalking ex-boyfriend

45-year-old Angela Smith was arrested on September 27th following allegations that she was stalking her ex-boyfriend, Cameron Wagoner. After appearing at Wagner’s residence on September 26th, he stated that he witnessed Angela attempting to coax his children to her vehicle, but she was told to leave by the son.

This follows messages between the victim and defendant where Wagoner asked Smith to stop texting him on three separate occasions. The victim also alleges that there were a number of posters hung around the neighborhood that featured his face alongside images of killers from different movies. While he did not personally witness Smith hanging these posters, he states that his children noticed her vehicle in the neighborhood. Due to this, Wagoner felt he and his family were in immediate danger, so an arrest warrant was issued.

John Brimeyer jailed after strangling his wife during argument

35-year-old John Brimeyer was jailed on September 27th after reportedly strangling his wife, Ashly Brimeyer, until she lost consciousness on Needmore Road. Little additional information was released on the incident, and Brimeyer was taken into custody and transported to booking.
