Carlos Ulysses Aegueta strangles girlfriend during argument over relationship

38-year-old Carlos Argueta was booked on August 30th for assaulting his girlfriend on Terrier Way after an argument about relationship issues. According to Mary Wolfenbarger, their argument turned violent when Carlos lunged at her and strangled her with both hands until she couldn’t breathe. Mary tried to get away from Carlos but tripped over a footstool and fell, causing him to fall on top of her.

Once Carlos was on top of Mary, he wouldn’t let her up. When she was finally able to move, she ran to the front door to escape, but he caught her and slammed the door, so she quickly ran to the backdoor and was able to exit and run to the neighbors for help. No one answered at the first house she went to, so she ran to another neighbor, Nora Manning, who called 911 after hearing Mary screaming for help.

While the neighbor called the police, Mary saw Carlos leaving their house with their 4-year-old son. She ran over to the vehicle Carlos put their son in and hit it repeatedly while screaming to give her son back, but he left before police arrived. Officers later spoke with Carlos over the phone and advised he turn himself in at the station.

Sonny Loggins charged in assault of girlfriend during breakup discussion

50-year-old Sonny Loggins was jailed on August 31st after reportedly assaulting his girlfriend on Fort Cambell Boulevard. Melissa Moyers-Russell reported that she and Loggins were arguing about a pending breakup when he lunged across the room and grabbed Ms. Russell by the collar of her shirt. She had bruising and swelling to her face and head but wouldn’t elaborate on how she got them. Loggins admitted to initiating physical contact during their argument and was taken into custody.

Maclaine Conley Butts charged with DUI after traffic stop for speeding

20-year-old Maclaine Butts was jailed on August 31st after an officer observed her going 73 mph on 101st and Peachers Mill and initiated a traffic stop. She finally pulled over on 101st and Ringgold Road, and the officer could smell alcohol coming from the vehicle as soon as she rolled her window down and asked how many drinks she had that night. Butts stated she had a Mad Dog beer hours before. The officer observed Butts to have glossy eyes and asked her to consent to field sobriety tests. She performed poorly, was taken into custody, and transported to booking.

Rachel Ingram charged in assault of her sister with a fan

21-year-old Rachel Ingram was booked on August 31st after police responded to a welfare check on Brittany Court. Raven Ingram told police that she heard an argument between Rachel and her boyfriend when she came home. Raven called the homeowner about the altercation, which upset Rachel, and she tried to hit her sister with a fan to retaliate. According to Raven, she defended herself, which led Rachel to leave the house. Police were not able to make contact with Rachel due to her not having a cell phone and usable address within the city.

25-year-old Lakirah Buford was jailed on August 30th after her boyfriend, Christopher Williams, reported she assaulted him. According to Williams, the two have been going through some hard times in their relationship, and he reached out to his sister about it. Buford saw the conversation between Williams and his sister and became angry. Williams then asked Buford to leave and started grabbing her belongings for her. Buford became angry, swung, and hit Williams in the face. Police observed a small abrasion on his chin where he was hit. Buford admitted to hitting Williams and was placed into custody.

19-year-old Ayesha Clayborn was jailed on August 26th after dumping rubbing alcohol on her boyfriend’s head on Ryder Avenue. Roshaun Anderson told police that he and Ms. Clayborn had argued throughout the day, and after being doused in rubbing alcohol, Ms. Clayborn threw a coffee cup at him. Officers observed the rubbing alcohol on his shirt, and Ms. Clayborn was deemed the primary aggressor.

68-year-old Janet Menzies, of Deerfield New Hampshire, was booked on August 26th after reportedly assaulting her granddaughter in the Baymont Inn & Suites parking lot on Holiday Drive. Rachel Joyce reported that her grandmother was trying to remove her child from the car seat aggressively, and when she tried to keep her grandmother from touching her child, she was assaulted. Menzies began shoving Joyce and pulled her by the hair. When officers questioned her, she corroborated the story but didn’t mention the assault. She was transported to Montgomery County jail.

Mariana Illescas charged in assault of boyfriend; pushes him in a parking lot

19-year-old Mariana Illescas was jailed on August 25th after police responded to what was initially coded as a suicide threat in Lasaters’ parking lot on Highway 76. Illescas told police that she and her boyfriend were arguing about their relationship, and she pushed him twice, harder the second time. Police asked Elijah Yarbrough about the incident, and he stated that his girlfriend pushed him lightly, but he would not give a written statement. There is no prior domestic violence history between the two.

31-year-old Brittany Hines was jailed on August 29 for assaulting her ex-boyfriend after a disagreement. Police responded to Ross Lane and spoke with Marcus Girdley, who stated that he and Hines got into an argument that turned physical when she started scratching and assaulting him. Police observed multiple injuries on Mr. Girdley, including scratches and cuts to his face and neck and a huge bruise on his stomach. When police questioned Ms. Hines, she claimed that Mr. Girdley slapped her, but there was no evidence of injury, and she was determined to be the primary aggressor.

23-year-old Seth Russell was jailed on August 29th after assaulting his father on Terminal Road at their Specialized Transportation business. Jeff Russell told police that the two had argued after Seth failed a drug test earlier that morning. He became upset and started breaking things in a trailer before swinging a board at his father. Jeff bear-hugged his son to stop him from reentering the trailer because he believed he was going back in to get a .22 cal rifle. This only angered Seth more, and he started swinging at his father, punching him in the back of the head.

60-year-old Debbie McKenna was booked after assaulting her roommate on Peachers Mill Road. Steven Gray advised that he had just gotten home and was met by McKenna, who was yelling slurs and demanding he and his boyfriend move out immediately. As Steven tried to squeeze by Ms. McKenna to de-escalate the situation, she hit him in the face. The boyfriend corroborated the events of the incident, and the police couldn’t get a consistent story from Ms. McKenna.

Keila Ruiz Sillas charged in assault of mother during argument about money

23-year-old Keila Ruiz Sillas was booked on August 29th after trying to fight her mother at their home on Hilldale Lane. Maria Del Rosario Sillas Lopez told police that she and her daughter had gotten into a heated argument regarding a credit card bill. According to Maria, her daughter was stressed about money and tried to grab her purse, which started a struggle between the two.

Oscar Sanchez Casero stated that he jumped between the two during the tussle over the purse and grabbed it to de-escalate the situation. At that point, Keila started attacking her mother by scratching and punching her. Maria claims she fought back in self-defense, but Keila states that it was her mother who initiated the fight when she pushed her to the ground, got on top of her, and scratched and punched her. There was video evidence of the end of the fight. Maria had scratches on her neck and shoulder, and Keila had scratches on her face and arms. Due to the accusations and visible injuries of both parties, both Maria and Keila were placed into custody.

34-year-old Ashley Douthat was jailed on August 29th when police responded to reports of a noticeably drunk woman at the Clarksville High football game. When they arrived, they observed her yelling and arguing with her son about him not wanting to drive home with her while she was drunk. The parents of other students complained about Ms. Douthat causing a scene with her son and stated that she told them she had been drinking. When police made contact with Ms. Douthat, she started yelling and arguing with them and was taken into custody.

42-year-old Jesse Jones was jailed on August 24th after reportedly assaulting his wife during an argument about their marriage. According to Carita Jones, the argument turned physical when her husband began strangling her until she couldn’t breathe, pushing her back into the TV. Carita eventually pushed him off and tried to run out of the house, but Mr. Jones grabbed her by her hair. When police arrived, they observed the bedroom TV looking as if someone were pushed against it, and Carita’s scalp had redness to it. When Mr. Jones was asked what happened, he stated nothing happened, and they just argued.

41-year-old Cy Clark was jailed on August 23rd after attempting to pawn two stolen firearms at Cash American Pawn. When officers made contact with Clark, he had the two Heritage Arms Rough Rider Revolvers in his possession. The guns were reported stolen on August 22nd. Clark was transported to the precinct to be interviewed where he told two inconsistent stories regarding how he came into possession of the guns and was transported to Montgomery County Jail.

Davion Dozier jailed: 9.5 zips of marijuana found during theft investigation

19-year-old Davion Dozier was booked on an outstanding warrant from April 5th when Michael Matlock reported his 2019 Nissan Sentra had been burglarized. Matlock advised that his wallet, identifying documents, and Tile Tracking device had been stolen. On August 23rd, a warrant was issued to search Dozier’s home on Montrose Drive for a burglary investigation. The search yielded Matlock’s missing items plus 256.8 grams (9.5 zips) of marijuana, a Glock 19X, a barrel to another Glock, a digital scale, and several other wallets belonging to other victims. The serial number to the barrel of the Glock was reported stolen from another vehicle burglary.

Jennifer Owens steals dog & attacks owner, per report

38-year-old Jennifer Owens was booked on an outstanding warrant from September 27th when she allegedly broke into a home on Briar Hill Drive and stole their pit bull. Police spoke with Frank Somner and his girlfriend, Amber Mayfield, who stated they were asleep in their room when they were woken up by a loud noise in the kitchen. Owens and her juvenile daughter had forced their way into the home. Ms. Mayfield noticed her pitbull was taken from the house and put in the back of Owen’s vehicle.

When she tried to save her dog, she was attacked by Ms. Owens and her daughter. Ms. Mayfield says she was punched and kicked while lying on the ground. Ms. Owens then walked back into the kitchen, grabbed a knife, and cut Ms. Mayfield on her arm. Finally, she threw a large boulder at Mr. Sumner’s vehicle, cracking his windshield before leaving
