42-year-old Mark Jones was seen illegally hunting big game on Interstate-24 on October 29th. Jones and his 6-year-old son were seen on the road hunting a 5-point whitetail deer and an 8-point whitetail deer using a muzzleloader rifle and a ground blind. Neither Jones nor his son had on orange for safety. Mark Jones was taken into custody on December 8th and charged with contempt.

Ayesha Clayborn argues with her boyfriend, violates conditions of release

20-year-old Ayesha Clayborn was involved in a domestic altercation with her boyfriend, Roshaun Anderson, at Trenton Road on October 30th. The couple was observed arguing in a parking lot, but no assault occurred. The couple was involved in a prior dispute leading to Clayborn having a COR, which she violated by being around Anderson. Clayborn was taken into custody and charged with contempt and domestic assault. The couple has a previous history of domestic violence as well.

Makhere Benson strangles girlfriend during altercation

24-year-old Makhere Benson was involved in a domestic altercation with his girlfriend on November 18th. She reported to law enforcement that Benson put his hands around her neck and squeezed her, which caused red markings. Officers confronted Benson, searched him, and found a Xanax pill in his hoodie pocket. Benson was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault and simple possession/casual exchange. Benson also has a history of assault, including a prior incident in August of 2023.

Cheyenne Evilsizer lets ex-boyfriend stay at home, violates release conditions

20-year-old Cheyenne Evilsizer was seen by police engaging in a dispute with her ex-boyfriend Tyzek McCorkle on November 16th. Evilsizer told officers she was letting McCorkle stay at her home and stated he had been staying for the last couple of days. After officers ran Evilsizer through the NCIC, they discovered that she had conditions of release and was not supposed to have any contact with McCorkle, whom she assaulted at a gas station in March 2023. Evilsizer was taken into custody and charged with contempt- violation of COR.

Aminah Perkins punches ex-boyfriend multiple times during child exchange

21-year-old Aminah Perkins was booked on November 13th for assaulting her ex-boyfriend on Lynwood Circle. Police responded and spoke with Ms. Perkins, who stated that she and Devin Bartlett began arguing while she was picking up their children from his home. She stated that the argument escalated when he shoved her against the porch while strangling her to the point she couldn’t breathe and then dragged her through the yard. Officers spoke with Brenda Neal and James Neal, who were at the residence during the incident. They both said that Perkins began arguing with Bartlett during the child exchange and that she punched him multiple times until he pushed her away. The only injury observed was a small cut on the inside of Perkins’ lip. Due to the lack of evidence and multiple witnesses corroborating Bartlett’s story, Perkins was deemed the primary aggressor and transported to booking. Later, an active COR was discovered on file for Perkins, with Bartlett listed as the protected party.

Alexis Short assaults family, bites her mother during dispute

21-year-old Alexis Short believed that her boyfriend was being promiscuous on November 12 when her mother, Holly Donahue, tried to console her but only made her angrier. Donahue, seeing this, removed her child from the area because everyone involved was intoxicated. Short then began to push her mother and her brother, biting her mother on the hand, leaving a mark. Short briefly left the area before deputies could arrive, but moments later, she returned to the house and was taken into custody but was later released under Conditions of Release. Sometime after, an officer committed a traffic stop. While running her information through the records, they confirmed that she had an active COR prohibiting her from having contact with her juvenile brother. Despite this, her brother was the other party in the passenger seat with her. Short was taken into custody and charged with two counts of domestic violence and a COR violation.

Bianca Frias jailed for violating bond conditions of drinking alcohol at her home again

30-year-old Bianca Frias was booked, once again, for violating her COR, which prohibits her from consuming or being in possession of alcohol. On November 7th, officers responded to Silver Fox Lane to find Ms. Frias drunk in a running Honda Civic that was parked in her driveway. Officers were able to easily identify Ms. Frias due to previous arrests. When officers made contact with Ms. Frias, they immediately noticed the odor of alcohol and asked Ms. Frias to perform sobriety tests. The officers reviewed Ring doorbell camera footage that showed Ms. Frias returning home with her four-year-old daughter, proving that she was driving her vehicle while drunk. She was taken into custody, and a warrant for a blood sample was issued. The four-year-old daughter was left in the care of her father. Ms. Frias has a a history of charges pertaining to alcohol.

22-year-old Marcus Simpson was caught spamming the mother of his child, Alyssa-Anne Romero, with threatening messages. Romero constantly told Simpson to end all communication with her but refused and continued sending messages to her. Romero, afraid for her safety and the safety of her child, contacted the police. Simpson was taken into custody and charged with harassment.

Justin Barkey caught with marijuana in vehicle, blames girlfriend

22-year-old Justin Richard Barkey was stopped by police for a headlamp infraction on October 26th. Officers observed this, conducted a traffic stop, and noticed a strong odor of marijuana as they approached the driver’s side door. Barkey stated his girlfriend had been smoking marijuana, and the smell was on his clothes because of it. There was probable cause to search his vehicle, and officers located 14 grams of marijuana, a digital scale, cigarillos, 13 Vicodin pills, and a Glock 21 pistol. Officers later found that Barkey’s license was also suspended/revoked. Barkey was taken into custody for unlawful drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended/revoked license, simple possession, schedule VI drug violations, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.

Soledad Roman jailed after punching husband in the face during argument

49-year-old Soledad Roman began arguing with her husband, Bobby Morrow, on October 14th. The argument started when Bobby picked up Roman because she had been calling him all day asking for a ride. During their argument, Roman punched Morrow in the face and headbutted him, causing him to bleed. Bobby was then able to separate from her and call 911. Roman fled the scene but was seen walking northbound on Oak Street towards Providence Boulevard. Roman was then caught and taken into custody. She has been charged with aggravated domestic assault.

Semiko Bartlett repeatedly honks horn in husband’s driveway refusing to leave; jailed for trespassing

43-year-old Semiko Vantrece Bartlett was taken into custody on October 21 for an active warrant issued on June 30 for criminal trespassing and violating the conditions of her release. On June 30, Officers were dispatched to Donna Dr. regarding a disturbance. They spoke with William Bartlett, Semiko’s husband, who told them that Semiko showed up at his house honking her horn continuously in the driveway. Mrs. Bartlett reportedly refused to leave and continued to honk her horn until shortly before officers arrived. Officers were advised that Semiko has an active COR with William listed as the victim, and she also has an active criminal trespass order.

30-year-old Bianca Jazmin Frias violated her conditions of release at Silver Fox Ln. in the evening hours of October 5th. Officer Barnes responded to a call for service regarding a possible violation of bond conditions. Frias was visibly intoxicated as Barnes arrived. Frias has an active COR on file from a previous domestic assault involving her spouse, Stephen Burke, that prohibits her from possessing or consuming alcohol. Frias was taken into custody, and her 12-year-old son was left in the care of Burke.

Tyisha Lyles punches boyfriend in face during drunken argument

42-year-old Tyisha Lyles was jailed on August 23rd after assaulting her boyfriend on Dupuis Drive when he wouldn’t get up to pick up one of her friends. Police spoke with Mr. Benny Bird, who stated that he was upstairs asleep in the bedroom when his girlfriend came in and woke him up, stating that they needed to pick up a friend. After being told no, Ms. Lyles reportedly began attacking him, causing several cuts on his forearm. He got up and pushed her back, which only upset her more.

Police say Ms. Lyles punched Mr. Bird in the ear, breaking his skin and causing him to bleed. She punched him in the face several times before they went downstairs and argued. According to Mr. Bird, he became so frustrated he began punching holes in the wall before waiting outside for police to arrive. A check through NCIC showed Ms. Lyles in violation of an active COR with Mr. Bird as the protected party. She also admitted to drinking alcohol, which is another violation of her COR conditions.

Natalia Head breaks into home, assaults residents

22-year-old Natalia Head was booked on July 2nd after entering a home on Lynnwood Circle without permission. The victim told police that Natalia entered the home yelling and started an argument about kids sleeping on the floor. According to the victim, Natalia then went over to her bed, kicked her in the chest, and pulled her hair. The victim screamed for her boyfriend, Mr. Parker. He pulled Natalia off of his girlfriend, and she went into the living room and threw the victim’s TV on the floor, breaking it. A witness on the scene told police that she heard Natalia yelling and throwing the TV on the floor. Natalia and Mr. Parker have an active COR in which he is the protected party, and Natalia is not permitted to be around him; However Natalia told police that she knew Mr. Parker would be there.

Luis Rosas jailed after using 3rd party to send messages; violating an order of protection

33-year-old Luis Rosas was jailed this week after using a 3rd party to relay messages to his wife, who has an order of protection against him, which includes a no-contact order. The messages were sent via text by the 3rd party on May 27 and May 28. Just days prior to this arrest, Rosas was also cited for a bong, a grinder, loose marijuana, and THC wax, which was found in his bathroom during an interaction with police.

Archie Maxie jailed for domestic assault after argument with mother of his child

32-year-old Archie Maxie was jailed last week after police responded to Trenton Road and spoke with Brianna Goods, who said she had been staying with Maxie for the past four days to work out their relationship issues. Maxie and Goods share a child in common. According to Goods, she and Maxie got into an argument, and he cussed her out and told her to leave. Goods said Maxie then grabbed her arm to force her out of his apartment. She told police she slapped him afterward for hurting her.

When the police spoke with Maxie, he said that he and Goods had an argument, and he told her to leave. He then grabbed her arm to escort her out, and she slapped him before leaving. Maxie was transported to booking, and it was later discovered that there was an order of protection against him with Goods as the protected party.

Police say 35-year-old Jeremy Rugante was “tweaking” when they encountered him on Wilma Rudolph Blvd on March 28 just after 2 a.m. He was described as having “tweak” like movements with pinpoint pupils and was sweaty with slurred speech. He was unable to provide an address or arrange for anyone to take him to a safe place, so he was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.

Gabriel Rich attempts to pull girlfriend from car; smashes window with rock

18-year-old Gabriel Rich was reportedly in an argument with his girlfriend, Brianna Dycus, on March 15, which turned physical once she attempted to leave the apartment with her mother. She says as she was in the passenger seat of the vehicle, he opened her door and attempted to pull her out of the car by pulling and yanking on her arm. She was able to shut the car door but sustained bruising on her wrist. As they drove away, Gabriel threw a rock threw and shattered the window in the driver’s side door.
