29-year-old Emily Sharp & 33-year-old Mary Orange had reportedly been sitting in a vehicle at a gas pump for hours when police received a call for a welfare check for two women that were sleeping in the car. The complainant had knocked on the windows but received no response. Officers arrived, and eventually, the two women became aware of their surroundings. Sharp had a used syringe on her lap, which contained heroin. Orange had a cut straw on her. A search of the vehicle resulted in another loaded syringe, crystal methamphetamine, digital scales, and a burnt spoon.

Dillon Duke caught on video burglarizing neighbor’s home

18-year-old Dillon Robert Kane Duke was identified by “several family members” as being the person who broke into a home less than a block away from his own on Jan 23. Joshua Williams and Franqui Nicolis provided police with a home security video that showed a young white male in a hoodie taking things from their home, and several of his family members quickly identified him, leading to a warrant being issued for his arrest.

MoCo Sherriff makes 5.6 gram weed bust at Papa Rock — Cristianna Bagwell arrested

Deputy Wyatt Orr rushed to the Woodlawn Papa Rock just after 8 p.m. Monday after dispatch allegedly received a call from a ‘concerned citizen’ that three individuals were in a black Dodge sedan smoking marijuana by the yellow dumpster. He made contact with the owner, 27-year-old Cristianna ‘Kristi’ Bagwell, who admitted she had been smoking marijuana in the vehicle. When the deputy advised her he was about to search her car, she refused and attempted to leave the scene. Deputy Wyatt Orr recovered a whopping 5.6 grams of personal use marijuana and transported Bagwell to jail.

Campus Police bust APSU student Samuel Grigg with 33 grams of marijuana in dorm

18-year-old APSU Student Samuel Grigg is free on a $2,500 bond after Campus Police Officer Dustin Scroggins charged him with possession of 33.8 grams of marijuana in his dorm room. The campus housing authority had alerted police they believed drugs were in the dorm room. Officers say they smelled marijuana immediately upon arrival. Grigg admitted to possessing the green leafy goodness and was transported to jail.

Andrea Moore charged after attempting to cash fake money orders in Clarksville

25-year-old Andrea Moore faces multiple charges after police say she attempted to cash four fake money orders at a Madison Street business on January 23. Store employee Emily Burgess suspected the money orders were not genuine and contacted Publix, who was purported to have issued them, and it was determined they were fraudulent. A search incident to arrest also located marijuana in her purse.

Stephen Fragoso charged with Ecstasy possession, says he won’t return for court

Staff at the TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Clarksville asked 32-year-old Stephen Fragoso to leave their property after causing an issue. He refused and demanded to be trespassed, so Clarksville Police responded and issued a trespass notice. The officer waited for Fragoso to gather his things and noticed he quickly snatched a small bag from the center of the bed and stuff it in his pocket. When asked what it was, Fragoso stated it was Ecstasy pills, which tested positive for MDMA. All seven pills were seized, and he was taken into custody. Fragoso, who stated he worked for the D.O.D., told police he would not be returning to Clarksville as he lives in Arizona.

Adam Welch eats marijuana during traffic stop on Riverside Drive in Clarksville

Police say 34-year-old Adam Welch was driving for an extended period of time on the center lane on Riverside Drive just after 2 p.m. on January 11 and almost caused an accident with another vehicle. Officers initiated a traffic stop, and Welch produced a revoked driver’s license. Officers ordered him out of the vehicle and noticed green shake on his pants leg. It was quickly realized he had attempted to swallow marijuana. A search of his mouth was conducted, and there was marijuana in his mouth, which was retrieved, and a pack of cigarillos was located inside the vehicle. He was out on bond for two other incidents at the time of his arrest, both of which conditions prohibit him from possessing any controlled substances.

Valerie Knight charged with drug possession after trespassing at Walgreens on Madison St.

41-year-old Valerie Elizabeth Knight was trespassed from the Madison Street Walgreens in May. On December 1st, the manager on duty noticed she was inside the store and contacted the police, who found her near the ATM. As she was being arrested for criminal trespass, she was searched before being placed into the patrol car. Officers found prescription pills inside a small tan cloth bag. She claimed she was prescribed the pills but was unable to provide a prescription or the bottles.

Austin Mellender jailed for felony auto theft & two handguns

18-year-old Austin Michael Mellender is jailed in lieu of a $50,000 bond charged with the theft of a 2020 Ford Escape from Rheann Vera. Officers located him inside the vehicle with two male juveniles, ages 13 and 14, on Pageant Lane with 15 grams of marijuana and a loaded .22 magnum revolver, which was also reported stolen. He attempted to flee during the arrest but was captured after a brief foot chase. A search also revealed a 9mm handgun in the pocket of his hoodie. During an interview, it was learned all three individuals participated in the vehicle theft.

Kalvin Giordano jailed after failing to appear on citation for half-gram of weed

27-year-old Kalvin Daniel Giordano was booked into the Montgomery County Jail this week after he failed to appear in court for a year-old citation for possession of less than a half-gram of marijuana. The original citation was issued in July of 2021 when an officer approached him at the Gateway Inn & Suites, and he disclosed he had a small amount of marijuana on him when questioned. According to an arrest report, the weight of the marijuana was just under half of a gram. Police say he was scheduled to appear in court in November of 2021 but never showed up. A judge issued a bench warrant for his arrest, which was served on him this week. He is free on a $2,500 bond.
