19-year-old Devan Whitaker drunkenly walks in road, resists arrest

19-year-old Devan Whitaker was seen visibly intoxicated at Purple Heart Parkway on November 20th. Officers found Whitaker walking in the middle of the left lane. Whitaker was asked multiple times to stop walking in the middle of the road and talk to law enforcement. When other officers approached Whitaker, he began to run into oncoming traffic. Officers chased him and attempted to detain him, but he refused to put his hands behind his back and continued to pull away. Officers believed Whitaker was a danger to himself and possibly others, so he was transported to Montgomery County Jail. Whitaker was taken into custody and charged with resisting arrest and public intoxication.

Noah Racine drunkenly challenges officer to fight, threatens to spit on him

20-year-old Noah Ross Racine was jailed on November 18th after officers responded to Emerald Hills Apartments. When officers arrived, they found Noah outside a door that didn’t belong to him. The apartment Noah was at belonged to CJ Boswell. Officers noted they detected the odor of alcohol coming from Noah, but he said he hadn’t been drinking. Noah was verbally aggressive and refused to enter the patrol vehicle. He kicked off the ground and tried to move away until he was placed into the patrol vehicle and transported to booking. While at booking, he challenged Officer Scroggins to a fight across the room. The officers told Noah to sit on the bench, but he refused and began making noises as if he were going to spit on Officer Rattray’s face. He was then restrained on the floor.

Priscilla Saffell yells at Circle K employees, ignores police

41-year-old Priscilla Saffell was jailed on November 19th after complaining that the employees at Circle K on Dover Road were making her pay for items. When police arrived, they heard a woman screaming and yelling at employees. Saffel tried to leave once she noticed the police approaching, but the officers advised she was not free to leave. When officers asked for her name and ID, she refused to provide either. She then tried to push past them to leave and was told she was going to be placed in handcuffs. While the officers tried to cuff Ms. Shaffell, she refused and caused a brief struggle until she was successfully taken into custody.

Ronnie Hargraves Jr becomes aggressive towards police, wakes up neighbors

32-year-old Ronnie Hargraves, an employee of LG, was booked on October 26th after police responded to a fight in progress at Westfield Court Apartments. Officers first interviewed the complainant and then Hargraves’ girlfriend. Hargraves became angered by the fact that the officer was speaking to his girlfriend outside of his presence. When the officer attempted to talk to Hargraves personally, he was highly agitated, raising his voice and making a scene. Hargraves’ behavior caused a neighbor to come outside to see what was happening. The officer then attempted to take Hargraves into custody, to which he resisted and had to be taken to the ground.

Tina Hall pretends to be inmate, assaults police officer

56-year-old Tina Christine Hall was at Tennova Healthcare on October 27th when a deputy from Stewart County Sherrif’s Department advised officers that she had been showing up to the hospital whenever they take inmate Chante Ruf for medical appointments. A nurse told officers that Hall told her that her name was Chante Ruf and that she was there for an appointment, even though she had no legal reason to obtain any information regarding Ruf’s medical history. When officers approached Hall and told her she was not free to leave, she began to resist and kicked Sgt. Hurt a couple of times before they were able to detain her. Hall was taken into custody for using false identification, resisting arrest, and assault on a first responder.

Benjamin Bane resists arrest, yells profanities at officers in Wal-Mart

25-year-old Benjamin Lloyd Bane was involved in a scuffle at Wal-Mart on November 1. Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart about a man and a woman fighting in the parking lot. Officers spotted Bane, and he matched a description of the male given to officers. Bane began to walk away when officers approached him to speak about the incident, placing his hands in his pockets and refusing orders. Officers advised Bane he was being detained, and he continued to resist, so they had to take him to the ground to arrest him. Bane. After being handcuffed, he refused to walk to the patrol car. Instead, he began to scream and yell profanities at officers, causing a scene in the Wal-Mart. Bane was taken into custody for resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

Samuel Odle resists arrest after walking in the middle of Fort Campbell Blvd

58-year-old Samuel D Odle was walking in the middle of Fort Campbell Boulevard on the night of October 20th as officers were dispatched and found him walking on a concrete median. Odle told officers he had been walking in the roadway and acknowledged that he was honked at by drivers who passed him. When officers were trying to determine if Odle was impaired, he attempted to walk away and ignore their commands. Odle pulled away and refused to put his hands behind his back when officers were trying to arrest him. Officers were able to detain Odle and placed him in custody for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Kendra Johnson jailed after assaulting boyfriend and waking up neighbors

35-year-old Kendra Johnson was arrested for domestic assault, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest on October 3rd.  Officer Atwell was dispatched to Raven Rd. regarding a call about Johnson and her boyfriend, Dennis Thomas, in their front yard screaming at each other. Officers observed Johnson sitting in a Chevrolet Malibu as they arrived and stated that she was uncooperative and agitated, so they decided to go inside the home to speak with Thomas, which made her even more uncooperative. Johnson continued to disobey the officers’ orders and began resisting when placed in handcuffs. Officers stated that once Johnson was in custody, she refused to answer any questions. Officers spoke with Thomas, who stated that he and Johnson were having an argument that turned physical once she started pushing and grabbing at him. Neighbors and witnesses stated that they saw Johnson trying to grab Thomas out of the car as he tried to leave. Johnson was mirandized and still refused to tell her side of events. She was determined to be the primary aggressor and was taken into custody.

Luis Delvalle assaults officer after drinking at Revel House in Clarksville

In the early morning hours of September 21st, 23-year-old Luis Delvalle was found at a Mapco on top of his friend after his car, parked at the Revel House, would not start, and he rode there with them. Clarksville Police Department Officer Binkley pulled the two apart and told Luis to sit in the back of the car. Luis could not stand alone and had slurred speech before Officer Binkley asked him questions he could not answer. While the officers spoke to Luis, he became aggressive, so they attempted to handcuff him, but he resisted. After he was handcuffed, Officer David searched him, and Luis kicked him in the leg.

Parking Lot Pooper Nakietha Gallion eats baggie of cocaine, kicks officers

28-year-old Nakietha Gallion was jailed on May 12th after an anonymous call of a man “pooping in the parking lot” of Circle K on Lafayette Road. When police approached Gallion, he was across the street from the gas station. He started walking away from the officers while removing all of his articles of clothing. Mr. Gallion then grabbed something from his wallet, put it in his mouth, and started chewing on it. He was told to stop walking and stand by his jacket, at which point he reached into his waistband and said, “Or what?”

Police told Gallion to put his hands behind his back, but he refused and was taken to the ground. While on the ground, officers commanded him to spit out what he was chewing on, but he refused and kicked an officer multiple times. He was taken into custody, and police were able to retrieve the item he was chewing on. It was a small, clear, plastic baggie containing a white powder that tested positive for cocaine. Gallion was transported to Tennova to be observed for a possible overdose. The baggie of cocaine was approximately .5 grams.

Soldier Taylor Hanson “I had 8 Brigade Beers” before breaking sprinkler & flooding jail cell

25-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Taylor Hanson was jailed on May 2 after being found extremely intoxicated in a parking lot on Fort Campbell Blvd just after 1 a.m. He told police he consumed “8 Brigade Beers” prior to their interaction. Officers attempted to place him into custody, but he actively resisted arrest and had to be taken to the ground to gain compliance. While in a holding cell at booking, Hanson destroyed the sprinkler in his cell, causing water to rush throughout the facility. He was additionally charged with vandalism of critical infrastructure..

Corey Johnson jailed over $16 drywall damage

18-year-old Corey Johnson was jailed on April 2nd after trespassing at a construction site on Center Road. Police responded to a call stating that two people were on the roof of the apartments being built. Johnson was initially issued a trespassing warning for the property; however, after the property manager walked through the building, he found damage to the drywall that wasn’t there before. When police tried to take Johnson into custody, he resisted arrest by locking his arms so he couldn’t be handcuffed. He also kicked the patrol car while he was being placed in the back seat. The property manager estimated the cost of the drywall to be $16.

Faith Stephens punches husband in face multiple times during argument

20-year-old Faith Stephens is charged with domestic assault after punching her husband, Aaron Braun, in the face multiple times. A witness, Tyler Squier, told police about the assault and stated she also punched him as he attempted to separate them. During an interview, Faith told police she punched her husband but did not wish to speak further about the incident. As she was being taken into custody, she began to scream and resist arrest. It took two officers to detain her in handcuffs.

Mariah Blankenship kicks cop in groin in battle at Paradox Lounge

23-year-old Mariah Blakenship was jailed after kicking a police officer in the groin and striking him in the face as he attempted to detain her after a fight at the Paradox Lounge on Wilma Rudolph Blvd on Feb 25th. Police say they responded to a fight in progress at the club and arrived to find Blankenship being forcefully restrained by three individuals in order to prevent any more fighting. As Clarksville Police Officer Thomas Nichols attempted to take her into custody, she kicked him in the groin and chest and used the hand that was cuffed to strike him in the face as she twisted out of his grip, with the assistance of two other people who were interfering with the arrest. She was determined to be extremely intoxicated and transported to booking after being cleared at Tennova hospital.

Bruce Tidwell pulls deputy into cell with him and bites his leg at Montgomery County Jail

22-year-old Bruce Tidwell was found slumped over his steering wheel on the side of the highway. On 02/19/2023, Officer Wright responded to a welfare check After THP Trooper Crysel was unable to get a response from Tidwell, who was passed out over his steering wheel. After banging on the window and shouting, Tidwell was able to exit the vehicle but was so intoxicated he fell asleep while standing up and staggered around. He would not comply with sobriety tests, and the decision was made to take Tidwell into custody. Once Tidwell was told he was being handcuffed, he started to fight back violently, causing himself and the officer to fall to the ground in a struggle. He was finally escorted to the patrol car.

The officer opened the door to remove a bag and Tidwell kicked the door shut on him causing the officer to fall and causing damage to the inside of the vehicle. Tidwell was finally taken to booking. Once there, Deputy Cornett responded to deputy needs assistance call. Upon arrival Tidwell was kicking at other deputies and screaming, “I AM NOT STAYING IN THIS CELL!” He wrestled the deputy into the cell with him. During this time, he also bit the deputy in the leg.

MoCo Sherriff makes 5.6 gram weed bust at Papa Rock — Cristianna Bagwell arrested

Deputy Wyatt Orr rushed to the Woodlawn Papa Rock just after 8 p.m. Monday after dispatch allegedly received a call from a ‘concerned citizen’ that three individuals were in a black Dodge sedan smoking marijuana by the yellow dumpster. He made contact with the owner, 27-year-old Cristianna ‘Kristi’ Bagwell, who admitted she had been smoking marijuana in the vehicle. When the deputy advised her he was about to search her car, she refused and attempted to leave the scene. Deputy Wyatt Orr recovered a whopping 5.6 grams of personal use marijuana and transported Bagwell to jail.

Sherryl Hollis bites son in front of officers who responded to 911 call

58-year-old Sherryl Denise Hollis was charged with domestic assault and resisting arrest on December 30th after police responded to a possible suicidal subject at her apartment on Cobalt Drive. Police say Sherryl bit her son, Brandon, as she was upset he called 911 and he was attempting to calm her down. As officers were conducting their investigation and decided to place her under arrest for the domestic assault, she resisted arrest by placing her hands to her chest, planting her feet, and refusing to sit, requiring officers to pull her into the squad car to be transported to Montgomery County Jail.

Oshay Randall Coffee kicks 6-year-old niece in stomach after jerking her to the ground

27-year-old O’Shay Randall Coffee is charged with felony child abuse and resisting arrest after police say he assaulted his six-year-old niece on the property of Hazelwood Elementary School on December 6th. School security cameras captured him jerking the child to the ground and kicking her in the stomach as he walked her to the school. As officers were taking him into custody, Coffee began to pull away from officers and was taken to the ground by multiple officers.

Ra’Shelle Terrell charged in wild assault and resisting arrest incident in Clarksville

Officers arrived at a domestic disturbance call to find 21-year-old Ra’Shelle Terrell kicking at the front door of her home. As the officer exited the patrol car, Terrell began kicking out the front window of the residence. She attempted to flee the scene before she could be detained, and as she made it to her vehicle she screamed she didn’t know who the uniformed officer was, but was eventually cuffed and detained. Moments later, she slipped her cuffs and grabbed onto the axle of her vehicle to avoid or delay arrest. Her husband, Foster ‘Gauge’ Nye, explained she came home and said he wasn’t himself and began kicking holes in the wall as she locked herself in the bedroom. She then fled the house, locking herself out, kicked in the door, kicked in the window, and eventually threw keys in the face of her husband, assaulting him.
