20-year-old Maclaine Butts was jailed on August 31st after an officer observed her going 73 mph on 101st and Peachers Mill and initiated a traffic stop. She finally pulled over on 101st and Ringgold Road, and the officer could smell alcohol coming from the vehicle as soon as she rolled her window down and asked how many drinks she had that night. Butts stated she had a Mad Dog beer hours before. The officer observed Butts to have glossy eyes and asked her to consent to field sobriety tests. She performed poorly, was taken into custody, and transported to booking.

Daequan Walton blows over double legal limit on breathalyzer; speeding at 84 mph

21-year-old Daequan Walton was observed doing 84 MPH and weaving through traffic on Providence Blvd. on July 17th by MCSO Deputy Ryherd. Deputy Ryherd conducted a traffic stop and spoke to Daequan, who admitted to drinking a six-pack. Another officer took over and evaluated Daequan’s sobriety test; he performed poorly and agreed to take a breathalyzer test. His BAC was 0.194 at that time.

One of Fort Campbell’s finest charged with DUI during wild ride — Carson Dempsey

19-year-old Fort Campbell 15U Chinook mechanic Carson Dempsey was driving his grey Ford F-150 on the afternoon of June 10 when he passed a sheriff’s department deputy at 75 mph in a 55 mph zone while swerving all across the road. The deputy was actually en route to multiple calls about the same vehicle driving recklessly. He conducted a traffic stop and immediately smelled alcohol coming from Dempsey. Dempsy stated he had “two or three beers” before driving, but inside the vehicle was an empty bottle of vodka, an empty bottle of rum, and an almost empty bottle of vodka. Dempsey was transported to jail, where he faces multiple charges.

Soldier Brandon Brown had Twisted Teas while fishing before driving his Jeep

26-year-old Fort Campbell soldier Brandon Brown told police he consumed a six-pack of Twisted Tea drinks while fishing on June 2 before getting behind the wheel of his silver Jeep just before 10 p.m. He was observed traveling 70 mph in a 55 mph zone on Hwy 149 near Hemitite Road. As the officer conducted a traffic stop, Brown reportedly reeked of alcohol and had bloodshot eyes. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was taken into custody, charged with DUI.

Matthew Martinez charged with 2nd DUI in 9 days

Fresh out of jail and on bond for a DUI earlier this month, 24-year-old Matthew Martinez once again found himself in handcuffs this week. On May 21, officers observed Martinez driving his black Ford Fusion at 78 mph in a 45 mph zone near Dover Rd & High Point Rd. Officers conducted a traffic stop and immediately smelled both marijuana and alcohol coming from Martinez. He was reportedly slurring his words, repeating himself, and having trouble keeping his balance. He was transported to booking and was once again charged with DUI — the second time in nine days.

Soldier Kenneth McCormack flees from police on his motorcycle just before 3 a.m.

24-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Kenneth McCormack was jailed on April 9th after taking off on the police when they tried to pull him over for speeding on his motorcycle. An officer saw McCormack going 67 mph on Dover Road at 2:40 a.m. When the officer turned on his lights and siren, McCormack sped off trying to avoid being pulled over. The Officer turned off his emergency equipment and saw McCormack pull into Mr. Billy’s Bar and go inside. The officer followed and was able to identify McCormack by his clothing. He would not give the officer his Driver’s License, but he was able to be identified by cross-referencing from a prior incident on his motorcycle within the city.

Michael Scott charged with cocaine & marijuana possession after traffic stop

37-year-old Michael Scott was jailed on March 21st after police conducted a traffic stop for him speeding and found drugs in his vehicle. On Providence Boulevard, police observed Scott driving 55 mph in a 40 mph zone. When officers asked for his license, he told them it was possibly suspended due to child support, and he was not able to provide proof of car insurance. When police asked if there was anything illegal in the vehicle, he replied that he had marijuana in the car and handed over a package of “Dutch Leaf Wrappers”. A search of the vehicle also yielded 2 bags of cocaine, totaling 8.16 grams.

36-year-old Jeremy Aguirre was traveling 71 mph in a 55 mph zone on March 22 on Hwy 374, according to police. He then consented to a search of his black Ford Ranger, during which 281 grams of marijuana, codeine pills, and a small amount of cocaine were discovered. He was transported to headquarters, where he admitted to selling the drugs during an interview.

19-year-old Christopher ‘Scotty’ Carter was jailed on multiple charges, including underage DUI, after a March 17 crash. Deputies say the teen was traveling at 55 mph in a 25 mph zone on Wiley Brown Road when he crashed his black 2016 Audi A7 into decorative boulders, causing property damage and extensive front-end damage to the vehicle, including airbag deployment. Carter then drove to his home, less than a mile away on Surrey Ridge Road, without reporting the collision. Deputies located Carter at his home, where he had trouble standing, walking, and was slurring his words. He smelled of alcohol and was visibly intoxicated. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was transported to Tennova Sango ER for a blood draw before being transported to booking. He is free on a $4,000 cash bond.

21-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Wendy Osias was booked on an outstanding warrant Wednesday, charging him with the theft of a wig in October. Dominique Nall says she sold Wendy a wig valued at $509 at Strandz By Nicole, which is seen on video at the business. After purchasing, Osias disputed the charge with his bank and put a stop payment on the transaction. Ms. Nall has text messages between Osias and his spouse in reference to the payment that she says she never received, as it was disputed.

Thor Tucker charged in DUI with open 25oz Busch beer

26-year-old Thor Tucker faces DUI and multiple other charges after deputies say they observed him traveling at 65 mph in a 35 mph zone in his white Mustang late Monday. During the subsequent traffic stop, he reportedly reeked of alcohol and had an open 25oz can of Busch beer that was still cold and partially empty. Tucker refused all alcohol testing, but a warrant was granted for a blood draw. He was additionally charged with a window tint violation.

Sporting a popped collar even in his mugshot, 32-year-old Ortega Aquilino Regules faces multiple charges after deputies say he was traveling 70 mph in a 40 mph zone while intoxicated. The traffic stop occurred on Providence Blvd as Regulas was driving his 2009 Nissan Altima. Police say he reeked of alcohol and admitted to consuming “two beers” before driving. Once at booking, it was learned he also had an outstanding warrant from 2019, also for DUI.

21-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Zachary Jeffrey Braley is charged with drag racing and speeding after a THP Trooper observed him driving one of four vehicles traveling together and approaching him at a high rate of speed, eventually reaching 91 mph in a 55 mph zone on Hwy 374 between Peachers Mill Road and Whitfield Road. Trooper Cadena stopped Braley, who was driving the lead vehicle, at 1 a.m. and placed him into custody.

27-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Dakota Blake Herrod was jailed this week on an outstanding warrant issued when he failed to appear for a traffic citation in July. The original June citation charges him with traveling at 68 mph in a 45 mph, with no proof of insurance, and driving on a suspended license. He told the officer his cruise control was set at 64. When he didn’t appear for his July court date, a failure to appear warrant was signed.

Jacob Gregorek charged with marijuana possession & speeding in Clarksville

22-year-old Jacob Ryan Gregorek was pulled over for speeding 21 mph over the speed limit Saturday night and told the officer he had smoked earlier but had no marijuana or drugs in the car when the officer noted he could smell marijuana. He eventually consented to a search of his vehicle after multiple more denials that anything was inside the vehicle, and the officer located 17 grams of marijuana in the console. Gregorek explained he was from Virginia, where he says they’re allowed to have small personal amounts.
