19-year-old Jaden Weaver was found disoriented and walking in the middle of Sango Road late Monday night. As officers approached Weaver, who was wearing a black hoodie and weaving and wobbling on his feet, he was asked to empty his pockets. Weave produced a cloth, a bag, and a can of air duster. As he attempted to inhale more of the product, the officer stopped him and placed him under arrest for inhaling toxic vapors for the purpose of getting high.

Jervion Akins walks into traffic with Patrón and marijuana
34-year-old Jervion Akins was jailed on March 11th after police received a call regarding a man walking into oncoming traffic just before 1 p.m. Officers located Akins on Dover Crossing Rd. Officers first noticed that there was an overwhelming odor of marijuana and shortly after noticed an overwhelming odor of alcohol coming from Akins. When Officers conducted a search, they located 30 grams of marijuana and an open bottle of Patrón. Akins was deemed intoxicated and a danger to himself in a public setting and taken into custody.
Gerardo Lazo free on $52,500 bond after DUI arrest
31-year-old Gerardo Lazo is free on a $52,500 bond after police say he was driving under the influence of alcohol on March 14. An officer noticed his vehicle as it was traveling near Governor’s Square Mall without head or tail lights. The vehicle was not maintaining a constant speed and was weaving between lanes. Lazo, who was in the driver’s seat, would only partially roll down the window during the traffic stop and had slurred speech when he told the officer he had consumed a “tall boy” about fifteen minutes prior to driving. He refused all testing, and a warrant was granted for his blood. Once at Tennova, he refused to remain still enough for a blood draw to be completed, and he was charged with tampering with evidence, adding $50,000 to his original $2,500 bond for DUI.
Alexis Johnson flees from police and wrecks car, leaves marijuana behind
19-year-old Alexis Johnson was doing donuts in a parking lot when Clarksville Police activated their lights and attempted to stop her. She fled the area and later wrecked her car at the Speedway on Providence Blvd. She fled on foot from the car and ran behind the Speedway, and was unable to be located. Officers searched the abandoned vehicle, which was registered to Johnson, and located 19 grams of marijuana. Johnson eventually came to the police station and wrote a statement in which she admitted to driving the wrecked car and fleeing from police.
DUI: Casey Langlois, 20, rear-ends vehicle after drinking at ‘Ghost Bridge’
20-year-old Casey Langlois says she was hanging out at “ghost bridge,” where she had two shots of alcohol before rear-ending a car on College Street near Johnny’s Big Burger Tuesday afternoon. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests, and officers located a bottle of Green Apple Smirnoff that was almost empty in her vehicle.
Adam Dalton assaults girlfriend after she disconnects his phone from the television
44-year-old Adam Dalton reportedly grabbed his girlfriend, Beverly Blanton, by the neck and placed her in a choke-hold before punching her in the face multiple times in November. She says she blacked out during the assault, which began because she disconnected his phone from the television. Officers documented injuries on the victim and issued a warrant for Dalton, who fled the residence. He was booked on that outstanding warrant this week.
Damon Williams, father of seven, jailed after 173 grams of methamphetamine found in home
32-year-old Damon ‘Donke’ Williams was jailed on Mar 10th after a drug bust at his home on Caldwell Lane. The task force searched Williams’ home, where a woman and six of his seven children were present during the raid. Officers located different narcotics and narcotic paraphernalia items in Williams’ home and vehicle, including 173 grams of crystal methamphetamine and 1.7 grams of crack cocaine. There were 72 grams of a green leafy substance that tested positive for both marijuana and meth. To confirm, the green leafy substance was tested multiple times with different test kits. The paraphernalia items include digital scales, baggies, rolling papers, and blunt buster spray.
Casey Meadows assaults brother in an argument about tools
39-year-old Casey Meadows was jailed on March 9th after beating up his brother over an argument about tools. Police arrived on Shelton Ferry Road and spoke to Mark Meadows, who claims he and his brother Casey got into an argument about tools, and Casey started punching him in the face. Mark suffered a bloody ear and lip and minor injuries on his body. Casey has an extensive history of domestic violence and left the scene before the police arrived.
Tatiyana Payton charged with firing gun when boyfriend won’t let her inside – $50K bond
22-year-old Tatiyana Payton was jailed Mar 9th for firing a handgun out of anger when her boyfriend wouldn’t let her into his home. Jayvis Hall and Ms. Payton have dated on and off for three years. Payton went to Hall’s house on Morningside Drive to grab some of her things, but he wouldn’t let her into his home. He spoke to her through the door while she stood on the porch. Ms. Payton pulled out a small black handgun and waved it around while arguing back and forth with her boyfriend. She told him she wasn’t “messing around,” and she was going to “count to three.” Shortly after, Hall heard gunshots from outside his door, and he went further away from the door, inside of his home.
Brittany Williams charged after destroying her husband’s belongings in a rage
27-year-old Brittany Williams was jailed on Mar 10th after vandalizing her husband’s belongings at his home on Stafford Street. DeShawn Williams reported his door being broken and items being missing. Police observed items thrown all over the house. Chemicals were poured on the floor, and cologne bottles were broken. Mrs. Williams cut up a jean jacket with a kitchen knife that belonged to Mr. Williams. The Ring Camera showed Mrs. Williams coming to the home and leaving with several duffle bags. Mr. Williams claims that the bags were full of all his clothes. The Williams are still married but legally separated and no longer living together.
Terri Starling charged in assault of her girlfriend after a jealous misunderstanding
29-year-old Terri Starling was jailed on Mar 8th for allegedly punching her girlfriend in the face on Summer Street after an argument about a phone conversation. Tiffany Banks told police her girlfriend, Starling, became angry with the conversation she was having on the phone with her friend. Banks and Starling argued, and Starling Pushed Banks and then punched her in the face leaving her with a swollen and bruised lip. Starling told police there was an argument, but it did not get physical.
Jeremy Gayer charged with DUI, driving on revoked license
42-year-old Jeremy Gayer was arrested for driving drunk with a revoked license at 101st and Whitfield Rd on Mar 4th. Gayer was seen stumbling behind his vehicle on the shoulder of the road. When police asked where he was coming from, he told them he had been in Springfield having a few drinks and was just trying to make it home. Gayer smelled strongly of alcohol and had bloodshot watery eyes. He agreed to sobriety testing, which he performed poorly on, and it was discovered that his driver’s license had been revoked since 2021 for a prior DUI.
DUI: Stephen Bohm charged after drinking at Strawberry Alley; muffler in the trunk
28-year-old Stephen Bohm was charged with DUI early Tuesday morning after admitting to officers how drunk he actually was. Officers saw Bohm drive by in a Honda Prelude without a muffler and performed a traffic stop on 41-A near Quarry Road. Bohm smelled of alcohol and had bloodshot watery eyes. He told the officer that his muffler was in his trunk because it had fallen off and that in the last two hours, he had drank 3-4 beers at Strawberry Alley plus a shot of liquor at a friend’s house. The officer asked how drunk he was on a scale from 1-10, and he replied a 4.

18-year-old Akil Thomas was Jailed on Mar 2nd after pushing his mother in the face during an argument. On Stella Court. Jennifer Jones and her son Akil were in an argument when he shoved her face to push her away. Jones fears he will put his hands on her again.
Jerniqua Mitchell throws baby daddy’s XBox out the window alongside I-24
20-year-old Jerniqua Mitchell was charged with vandalism on Tuesday for an incident that took place on September 10th on Spicer Drive. The father of her child, MyArie Shannon, has a brother who witnessed Mitchell in his brother’s room alone around 11 pm. This wasn’t alarming to him because she had access and permission to be there without Shannon before. However, when Mitchell left the house, Shannon’s brother went into the room to check on things, and it was in complete disarray, with clothes and items scattered everywhere. He told police the only thing he was sure was taken was the Xbox One. Police spoke with Mitchell over the phone, and she confirmed that she did take it and threw it out the window at exit 24 on I-24. Shannon told police that he and Mitchell had an on-and-off relationship in the past but have been broken up for four months now
Fort Campbell Soldier Wendy Osias charged with stealing a wig from Strandz by Nicole
21-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Wendy Osias was booked on an outstanding warrant Wednesday, charging him with the theft of a wig in October. Dominique Nall says she sold Wendy a wig valued at $509 at Strandz By Nicole, which is seen on video at the business. After purchasing, Osias disputed the charge with his bank and put a stop payment on the transaction. Ms. Nall has text messages between Osias and his spouse in reference to the payment that she says she never received, as it was disputed.
Cornelius Stevens punches his father when told to do household chores
19-year-old Austin Peay student Cornelius Stevens was jailed for punching his father in the nose over an argument about chores on Tuesday evening. When police arrived, the father, Mr. Cornelius Stevens Sr., displayed swelling and redness to the bridge of his nose. Stevens admitted to punching his father and was taken into custody.
How drunk are you? Jessica Gooch: 2 out of 10
37-year-old Jessica Gooch was charged with DUI Saturday night after pulling out into traffic and hitting another car leaving Billy’s Bar on Dover Rd. When police approached and asked Gooch to exit the Ford Focus, she was slurring her speech, unsteady on her feet, and had a strong odor of alcohol emitting from her body. Gooch told police she did not have a license. She agreed to sobriety tests which she performed poorly on, and refused a breathalyzer. Police asked Gooch how drunk she was on a scale of one to ten she replied, “two.”
Kanya Cargile pulls boyfriend back inside window as he escapes from assault
19-year-old Kanya Cargile was jailed early Sunday morning for repeatedly hitting her boyfriend. Police reported to Ringgold Rd and spoke with Cargile’s boyfriend, Maikal Renteria, who stated she pushed, smacked, and punched him several times. He climbed out a back window to escape from the apartment. Police saw a scratch on his face. Cargile denies anything physical took place other than her trying to pull Renteria back through the window while he was trying to escape. Cargile was taken into custody.
O’marieon Moran assaults grandfather, who told him to pick up trash
19-year-old Omarieon Moran was jailed Monday morning after fighting his grandfather when he was asked to take out the trash. Police responded to the 700 block of Anita Ct. where Lakita Stripling told police that her son, Moran, and her father, Mr. Kuykendall, got into a fight. Kuykendall told police that Moran shoved him after he was asked to take out the trash. They began to wrestle, and a family member broke it up. Mr. Moran admitted to hitting his grandfather but would not go into further detail when asked. There were no reported injuries, and Moran was deemed the primary aggressor.
