Clarksville Police responded to the MAPCO at 2099 Wilma Rudolph Blvd on August 27th to find 28-year-old Connor Lawson House, who has been covered for his multiple prior arrests in Nashville, hiding in the bathroom eating a bag of chips he didn’t pay for. Management reported he had come into the store multiple times today and hid in the store’s restroom while eating and drinking food he took from the shelves without paying for it. Officers say he was intoxicated and reeked of alcohol. He was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.

Senior citizen Gerald Burrows charged with assault of cousin after yelling at his mother

Officers responded to a domestic call on Fleming Road Thursday afternoon after Crystal Diamond called 911 to report her cousin, 63-year-old Gerald Wayde Burrows, was drunk and yelling at his mother, Joan Jackson. The dispatcher reported hearing Mr. Burrows yelling during the call. His mother reported that their argument was only verbal, but Mr. Burrows did assault Ms. Diamond earlier. He had been allowing her to stay at the residence but now considered her unwelcome and hit her in the arm while she was cooking. He was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.

Ta’Zaiah Fairrow charged with punching two different men in recent months, one a teenager

Police say 18-year-old Ta’Zaiah Juleiah Ann Fairrow began to punch the father of her child, Michael Scott, in the face three times while in the parking lot of Dodge’s convenience store on Fort Campbell Blvd on August 21st. As he exited his driver’s seat to get away from her attack, she climbed into the driver’s seat and drove the vehicle away. At the time of her arrest for this assault, she had an outstanding warrant charging her with the assault of a 16-year-old child at a Domino’s Pizza in February.

Katy Phillips charged with DUI after crash near Madison Street Kroger

44-year-old Katy Hartsgrove Phillips, who was the Northwest High School Valedictorian in 1995 and was honored by the 99th Tennessee General Assembly, which declared her “display of intellectual prowess and inner drive surely bodes well for her future success,” was charged with DUI this week after crashing the vehicle she was driving at Madison & Maple Street. Responding officers say she was unable to stand without swaying and reeked of alcohol when they arrived at 7:01 p.m. Phillips refused field sobriety tests but consented to a blood draw for testing.

Christy Styles charged with DUI & domestic assault after a wild day in Clarksville

43-year-old Christine Diane Styles somehow managed to be jailed on both a DUI and a domestic assault charge after a singular incident this week in Clarksville. Nicholas Styles told police his wife, Christine ‘Christy’ Styles was in an argument with an employee, and when he attempted to break it up, she punched him in the chest. The argument continued to the upper floor of their Franklin Street home, where he says she then assaulted him a second time.

She left in his vehicle and returned a short time later, only to jump on top of him, bite his arm, and punch him in the face several more times. By the time police arrived, she had fled the scene in his vehicle once again and returned while they were interviewing Mr. Styles and documenting red marks on his stomach, a bite mark on his arm, and multiple abrasions to his face.

As she pulled up in his GMC Sierra, officers say she was obviously intoxicated, reeked of alcohol, and admitted to drinking “several glasses of wine.” She would later blow a 0.149% BAC. She is charged with DU and domestic assault.

Thomas Tanner jailed after threatening his very adult son with a screwdriver

79-year-old Thomas Theophilus Tanner was jailed this week after his son called 911 to report his father, who is nearly 80 and weighs 150 pounds, “threatened him with a screwdriver.” Deputy Ryan Foster arrived at the location and made contact with the son, Thomas Tanner Jr., who stated his dad was inside the home working on an electrical box, and when asked to stop he reportedly told his son he would stab him with a screwdriver if he didn’t step back from him.

The father told deputies he absolutely said those words to his son; as he was coming too close too him, he was backed into a small area and felt threatened because his son is a much bigger man than he is. The son told the deputy he was afraid for himself and his grandmother, and the father was jailed and charged with felony aggravated assault.

Douglas Bourne charged after assaulting his teenage daughter’s boyfriend

59-year-old Douglas Wayne Bourne is charged with the assault of his 19-year-old daughter’s boyfriend, Jerome Alexander. All three live at the same residence, and Emily says Jerome was upset at the way her dad grabbed a dog. Jerome states Mr. Bournce punched him in the chest, and he had to take control of him and hold him down to make him stop, and a video supported this, which showed the assault. When interviewed by police, Douglas Bourne stated, “it was a family argument, nothing happened, and now it is over.” Bourne was charged with domestic assault and transported to booking.

Harold Baker charged with felony Walmart Burglary; items never left the building

63-year-old Harold Baker is now charged with felony burglary after loss prevention associate Nicholas Mullins at the Walmart on Fort Campbell Blvd says they recognized him from May when he was trespassed from the business. The associate called Clarksville Police and reported that Baker once again had taken items from a retail shelf and carried them to a register, and concealed them in a bag, while paying for other items. He is free on a $5,000 bond.

Breanna Crisp charged with domestic assault after slapping boyfriend in face

Clarksville Police responded to a domestic disturbance Wednesday on E Street and spoke with 24-year-old Breanna Jeanette Crisp, who stated she was in an argument with her boyfriend, Caleb ‘CJ’ Pickney, and he had assaulted her. She advised she had slapped Pickney in the face to ‘get him out of her way,’ and in return, he pushed her out of the front door as she was walking by him. She admits she was never blocked in, and her movements were never restricted. She was deemed to be the primary aggressor and booked into custody for domestic assault.

24-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Brooke Kimbria Fletcher is charged with two counts of assault after a fight at the Waffle House on Fort Campbell Blvd. Victims Angel Sanders and Abramian Elayshia ‘Lay’ Majors both swore out warrants after being injured in the rumble. Both affidavits detail Fletcher grabbing their hair and punching and beating the victims, leaving them with several injuries, including swelling, scratches, and bruises. Damon Perry & Amarion Caudle charged in Sango car hopping incidents

Police say 18-year-old Damon Perry entered a BMW parked at a residence on Clydesdale Drive near exit 11 in Sango. He reportedly took a Vera Bradley wallet, a Tennessee driver’s license, and various other cards from the victim’s vehicle. He told police during an interview that 19-year-old Amarion Caudle had been with him, and they were burglarizing vehicles together that night, “car hopping” through neighborhoods.

A few blocks away, the pair also entered a vehicle on Mountain Way, and during this incident, Perry acted as the lookout while Caudle stole various items from a vehicle. This incident was captured on a security camera.

Fort Campbell soldier Dalton Henderson blows 0.234% BAC after burnouts at APSU

Police say 23-year-old Fort Campbell soldier Dalton Wayne Henderson was in a Ford truck in the APSU McCord parking lot doing burnouts and spins. As officers approached Henderson, he reportedly reeked of alcohol and admitted to consuming eight alcoholic drinks that evening. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and later blew a 0.234% BAC on a breathalyzer. A judicial commissioner noted he had a prior DUI case dismissed when he set his bond at $2,500.

Brianna Michelle Arquitt charged with harassing Natasha Herbaut

Natasha Marie Herbaut has taken out yet another harassment warrant for another woman in Clarksville. In an affidavit she swore out before a judicial commissioner on August 8th, she states that on July 23rd, 31-year-old Brianna Michelle Arquitt continued to contact her via call and text, despite telling her to stop. She says some of the messages were “offensive in nature.” Arquitt was booked on the outstanding warrant on August 15th and charged with harassment.

Andre Harris jailed after girlfriend says she was pushed and pulled during an argument

29-year-old Andre Dewaun Harris is charged with domestic assault after his girlfriend, Haley Starks, told police the couple had an argument and he grabbed her by the arms and pushed and pulled her around. Responding officers documented multiple bruises on the victim, which they say were consistent with being grabbed. This incident occurred on August 14th, and Harris was taken into custody on August 16th in Sumner County and transferred back to Montgomery County, where he remains jailed in lieu of a $500 bond.

DUI: Brendan Offutt — police find “human booger” on snort straw inside his vehicle

Just after 9 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to Dover Road regarding a report of a Buick swerving all over the roadway. Officer Hyatt located the vehicle, driven by 27-year-old Brendan Clark Offutt, which was now on Providence Blvd swerving from side to side. During the subsequent traffic stop, Offutt had extremely slurred speech, so much that most of his words could not be understood. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests. Inside the car, officers located a rolled-up paper made into a straw with white powder residue inside it and a “human booger” attached to one end.

26-year-old Tyler Jacob Kelley was jailed Tuesday after his girlfriend of sixteen months, Stephanie Hartley-Baker, says he shoved her to the ground, climbed on top of her, placed his hands around her throat, and used the entire weight of his body to press down on her. He only stopped when her young son, who was celebrating his first day of kindergarten, jumped on Kelley’s back and screamed for him to stop hitting his mother.
