Former School Nurse Leon Hensley pleads guilty to child pornography charges Wednesday

A former Clarksville school nurse pleaded guilty today in U.S. District Court to 25 counts of attempting to produce child pornography. Leon B. Hensley, 41, pleaded guilty prior to the start of a bench trial which was scheduled to begin today. Hensley faces a mandatory minimum of 15 years in prison on each count and up to life when he is sentenced on February 3, 2023.

Amir McCain (FlipPhoneShwty) jailed after fleeing police during April traffic stop

21-year-old Amir Shadon McCain, locally known as rapper FlipPhoneShwty) was jailed this week after being on the run for five months on multiple warrants, including a felony evading arrest/flight charge. In April, an officer was conducting a traffic stop on a Nissan Altima driven by McCain, and as he walked near the vehicle, McCain sped away and was able to evade police until they gave up the chase. Multiple warrants were issued for his arrest, and he was jailed on September 22nd after a new traffic stop for speeding. He is free on a $24,000 bond.

DUI: Nicholas Vermiglio found unresponsive behind wheel after “3 drinks” at Tilted Kilt

Police made contact with 29-year-old Nicholas Andrew Vermiglio as he was sitting on a guardrail on I-24 with his pants covered in vomit as he spoke to firefighters who had just arrived on the scene. His black Mazda 3 was in the turn late at exit 4, just feet away from him. Vermiglio advised he had consumed “three beers” at the Tilted Kilt and was confused about where he was and what was happening. He had been pulled out of the Mazda after a passer-by found him unresponsive behind the wheel in the turn lane.

Kinashia Russell charged in assault of stepmother in fight over insurance money

28-year-old Kinashia Russell was jailed this week on an outstanding warrant charging her with domestic assault. She reportedly arrived at her father’s residence in late July, demanding money from an insurance payout related to an automobile. When her father, Kenneth Russell, explained the check was already cashed as the vehicle and policy were in his name, she became irate and attempted to hit him. His wife, Natalie Russell, attempted to intervene while demanding Kinashia leave the property. Kinashia then fought with her stepmother, causing minor abrasions and bruises on her body, which were documented by police.

22-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Cole Carini called 911 after an hours-long argument with his wife, 23-year-old Danielle Carini. He says the argument escalated, and she began to hit him repeatedly and spit on him. He told police that when he attempted to block the spray of spit, he may have accidentally made contact with her face. She says that during the altercation, he punched her in the jaw with a closed fist. Due to both parties alleging the other instigated the physical assaults, both were jailed.

Duo charged in late-night O’Charley’s misadventure — Tyler Ainsworth & Megan McCollough

Clarksville Police responded to an alarm call at the O’Charley’s on Wilma Rudolph Blvd in the early morning hours of September 19th. ADS Monitoring reported a front door activation at the business. Officers observed 22-year-old Megan McCollough and 20-year-old Tyler Zane Ainsworth in the patio area., and both began to flee on foot when officers identified themselves. After a brief pursuit to terminal drive, both were taken into custody. Ainsworth stated he entered the building, claiming it was unlocked and took three Miller Lite beers, which were located along the path of the foot pursuit. McCollough told police she only entered the restaurant at 1 a.m. on a Monday to use the restroom.

Woman wakes up to find ex-boyfriend Andrew Roper standing over her bed

Alexis Swearingen says she woke up in her bedroom at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday morning to find that her ex-boyfriend, 19-year-old Andrew Neal Roper, had entered the home and was standing over her while she slept. He had used a code from when they were dating to enter the home. A verbal argument ensued, and Roper became exceedingly upset and kicked and stomped on a floor fan in the bedroom, valued at $50. He fled before police arrived, and a warrant was issued for his arrest, on which he was booked later that evening.

Rishawn Crump says Drake sent him the marijuana he was found with

33-year-old Rishawn Chandler Crump failed to show up for court on August 31st, so the judge issued an order for his arrest. He was served with that capias (failure to appear) warrant on September 14th. He was scheduled to appear on a simple drug possession citation that was issued after police found him with marijuana during a domestic call in July. When the officer asked if the marijuana was his, Crump initially replied, “I have a guy in the Netherlands,” and then stated, “Drake sent it to me.” Crump’s invitation to the cookout may be in jeopardy.

27-year-old Kenyatta Noele Davis is free on a $5,000 bond after investigators found she abused a 13-year-old female under her supervision at Oak Plains Youth Academy. During an altercation with the youth, she placed her legs around the juvenile’s neck and punched her in the face until she was bleeding. She then texted her co-workers in a group chat with a photo of the young girl’s leg with blood on it and the text: “I f***** [youth’s name] a** up.. had her leaking…”

Sarah Grace Vincent: 3rd DUI in 39 days in Clarksville — $40,000 bond

23-year-old Sarah Grace Vincent was issued a citation for DUI on August 8th in Clarksville, and was free to go without posting a bond. On August 26th, she was charged with a DUI and child endangerment and quickly posted a $13,000 cash bond, the conditions of which prohibit her from consuming any alcohol or drugs. But wait, there’s more! On September 11th, she was traveling 68 mph in a 35 mph work zone in Clarksville and was found to be once again driving under the influence. An officer says she was slow, lethargic, confused, and unable to state where she was coming from or going. She is now jailed in lieu of a $40,000 bond, which she has not yet posted.

Sasha Dunham charged with assault during roommate rumble

When Clarksville Police responded to a 911 call on Taft Drive and heard screaming coming from inside the residence, they had to kick in the door due to the nature of the call, the screams, and the prior call history at the location. Once inside, they located 29-year-old Sasha Marie Dunham, who was pushing her roommate, Branden Sammons, out the back door of the residence. The two had been in a shouting and shoving match prior to her assault on Sammons. Despite Dunham placing the call to 911, she was determined to be the primary aggressor and was taken into custody, charged with domestic assault.

DUI: Andrew Jones crashes with three children in his vehicle; admits to drinking

35-year-old Andrew Theodore Jones is charged with DUI and three counts of child endangerment after crashing his black Chevy Colorado into another vehicle at the intersection of N 2nd St & Kraft St late Saturday night. Police say he was extremely aggressive with the other driver and officers, and openly admitted to drinking prior to driving with his three children, ages 10, 14, and 15, in the vehicle with him. The children were medically cleared and had no injuries.

Nicholas Young tears down mother’s door and stomps on it in fit of anger

19-year-old Nicholas Livingston Young is charged with vandalism after his mother, Melissa Young, says he aggressively broke an exterior basement door off the hinges and stomped up and down on it before fleeing in his gold Cadillac. Police responded to the Buck Drive residence just after 6 p.m. Sunday and learned the vandalism occurred after he got into an argument with his mother, which put her in so much fear she eventually locked herself and two smaller children in a bedroom for their own safety.

Mariah Bloss crashes at 3 a.m. & flees; returns at 6 p.m. to report crash to police

25-year-old Mariah Jonel Bloss crashed her vehicle into a driveway on Kingsdeer Drive at 3 a.m. Sunday morning and fled the scene. Later that day, at almost 6 p.m., she drove her damaged vehicle back to the area and called 911 to report that she had just now crashed and waiting inside her vehicle for police to arrive. Officer Pacheco arrived and spoke with Bloss, who uses the name “FiftyShadesOfMariah” on a popular fans website, and she claimed she had just hydroplaned and wrecked.

The officer went to speak to the homeowner where the accident occurred, Wyeth Kilmer. He provided a security video from 3 a.m. showing the true time of the crash. When confronted, Bloss admitted she lied about when the accident happened. She now faces a felony filing a false report charge, in addition to leaving the scene of an accident with property damage.

Brayden Williams charged with underage DUI after 8 a.m. crash

19-year-old Brayden Michael Williams crashed at the intersection of Wilma Rudolph & Dunbar Cave Road just before 8 a.m. Saturday, and disclosed to responding officers he had consumed alcohol “the night before.” Officers noticed that the vehicle had seemingly fresh and significant damage to the front passenger side that was unrelated to the current crash, which Willaims claimed to have no knowledge of. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was charged with underage DUI.
