Kayla Lavell says she was taking cigarettes to her boyfriend at his workplace at Liberty Park when 24-year-old Allison Grayson confronted her. She says Grayson took a swing at her and missed, then shoved her against a vehicle. Lavell, who is pregnant, says she suffered pain during the incident and continues to have lingering backaches from the assault.

43-year-old Nicole Krause faces multiple charges after police say she mailed a package containing used undergarments to her ex-husband’s new girlfriend, Dian Wallace. Her ex-husband, Ryan Krause, also filed charges after she created a group chat with him and his new girlfriend and shared explicit and intimate videos and photos of the former lovers having sex.

Clarksville woman wrote worthless checks to “cover her artists for a show”— Tatyana Allen

26-year-old Tatyana Allen told Clarksville Police during an interview that she wrote four “bad checks” worth $1,925 knowing she didn’t have the money in her account because she had to “cover her artists for a show that she was putting on”. Allen stated she was counting on receiving money from a family member, but they did not come through with the money.

Scott Comperry arrested for 2nd time in 24 hours; now for violating his bond release conditions

As he bonded out of jail for assaulting his wife, former City Council Candidate Matthew Scott Comperry signed his conditions of release, agreeing to not return to his residence where the victim also lives, and was released. Four hours later, a citizen’s tip led police to find he had violated the terms of his bond and returned to the residence. He was arrested for the second time that day and booked into custody, charged with violation of bond conditions/contempt. His new bond was an additional $3,000.

Former City Council Candidate Scott Comperry charged with assault of wife

51-year-old Matthew Scott Comperry, who recently ran for Clarksville City Council, has been arrested and charged with the domestic assault of his wife, Lee Ann Comperry. After Tennova hospital requested a welfare check and she disclosed to police her husband had repeatedly struck her on the back of the head. Officers documented the bruising, including under her left eye, and took Comperry into custody.

Clarksville woman charged with stalking after she got a taste — Latoria Smith arrested

Curtis Wade had to contact Clarksville police after he says he had sex with his friend, 38-year-old Latoria Danielle Smith, and now she’s called him 75+ times and sits outside his apartment for hours at a time, despite repeated requests to stop calling and showing up. While police were speaking to Mr. Wade his phone was continuously receiving calls from blocked numbers, and when they arrived at his residence, they found Latoria sitting outside, where she had reportedly been for at least six hours.

Victim of roommate assault charged with underage drinking — Selwyn Thompson

20-year-old Selwyn-Lee Thompson told police his roommate, Marquis Jackson, assaulted him in the Waffle House parking lot when he refused to immediately take him home. As police investigated and arrested Jackson, they noticed that Thompson seemed extremely intoxicated, noting he was only 20-year-old. They also arrested Thompson, charging him with underage drinking. He admitted to drinking “4-5 beers”.

Soldier charged with felony assault of roommate — Marquis Jackson arrested

25-year-old soldier Marquis Jackson is charged with the felony aggravated domestic assault of his roommate, Selwyn-Lee Thompson after police responded to the Waffle House on Ft. Campbell Blvd earlier this month. The roommate says they were both sitting in a vehicle and Jackson asked him to take him home, however, the roommate denied the immediate request. Jackson then reportedly wrapped his arm around the 20-year-old’s throat, assaulting him. Officers noted several injuries consistent with an assault. The roommate was also arrested for underage drinking.

Marcony Ware charged with theft at Planet Fitness after traffic stop in Clarksville

29-year-old Marcony Ware was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on an outstanding warrant from July, charging him with theft. The warrant was discovered during a traffic stop, during which he was also charged with an expired registration, no insurance, and driving without a license. The theft charge alleges he stole $80 worth of property from Angela Lawless while at Planet Fitness.

Woman charged after assaulting husband with cup — Brittany Jones

26-year-old Britteny Jones is charged with the domestic assault of her husband after police say they responded to a 911 about an assault between the couple. Her husband, Ryan Taylor, told police she pushed him and threw items at him during an altercation, and police documented multiple injuries to his face and head. Jones only admitted to “throwing a cup” at him during an argument.

Man charged in car break-in, he says it wasn’t him — Nacobie Vaughns arrested

23-year-old Nacobie O’Neal Vaughns now faces felony auto burglary and felony fraud charges after police say a victim reported her bank card was stolen from her vehicle on Raven Road earlier this month and shortly after, someone attempted to remove $3,820.00 from her bank card to their CashApp account. Subpoenas to CashApp revealed the account belonged to Nacobie Vaughns, and police swore out the warrants.

Vaughns posted on social media that he was arrested for something he didn’t do. Vaughns has no prior record and had a valid handgun carry permit – until a Judge ordered it to be surrendered as a result of this arrest. He is free on a $20,000 bond.

Leighland Fouts found “rolling around on the ground” after being bounced from Hookah 21

Clarksville Police responded to Hooka 21 on University Ave and met with security staff Ahmed Murad, who explained that 28-year-old Leighland Fouts was asked to leave the property multiple times and refused to do so. He was reportedly intoxicated to the point he was unable to stand up. Officers offered to let him find a safe ride home but soon discovered he had exited the vehicle and was rolling around on the ground.

Shooting at Clarksville Waffle House

At 2:55 am, The Clarksville Police Department received several calls about a shooting that occurred at the Waffle House, 1683 Ft. Campbell Blvd. When officers arrived on the scene, they located one individual with 2 gunshot wounds and he was life-flighted to Nashville. The victim appears to have been inside a car when shot, which then crashed. Witnesses report hearing at least twenty shots.

Two other people drove themselves or were dropped off at Tennova Hospital and Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH). They stated that they were at the Waffle House when the shooting occurred and their injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.  The status of the individual that was life-flighted is unknown at this time.

23-year-old Demarcus Grant is charged with the felony aggravated domestic assault of his girlfriend, Oreione Johnson, after she was able to text a friend to call the police to the scene. Police arrived to find her injured, and she explained the couple had been arguing when he struck her in the face and attempted to strangle her.

Man charged in domestic assault of wife — Chancellor Harrison Phillips arrested

24-year-old Chancellor Harrison Phillips is charged with the domestic assault of his wife, Heidi Phillips. She left the house and arrived at Clarksville Police headquarters to report the couple had been in an argument of the discipline of their 2-year-old son when she says Harrison balled his fist and aggressively stated he hoped she wasn’t pregnant, or else he would knock the baby out of her.

She recounted this is how prior assaults began so she fled the residence.

Clarksville Police make pettiest “marijuana” arrest on residue — Cynthia Hutchins

Clarksville Police have arrested Cynthia ‘Katie’ Hutchins and charged her with drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia after finding “marijuana residue” (but no actual usable marijuana), scales, and sandwich bags inside a vehicle she was briefly in with Jocqui Smith, who they had under surveillance for drug activity. She is free on a $2,500 bond.

Man charged in assault of girlfriend then fleeing the scene — Trevor Hawkins

35-year-old Trevor Hawkins is charged with domestic assault after his girlfriend, Desirae Swarts, called 911 to report he hit her on the side of her head causing her to fall to the ground. He fled the scene before officers arrived, but a warrant was issued for his arrest after documenting the injuries of the victim, and he was booked several days later.
His bond was set at $1,000.

Bria Gross charged in assault of boyfriend when he admits to cheating

25-year-old Bria Michelle Gross, AKA “Royal Krown” was booked into the Montgomery County Jail, charged with the assault of her boyfriend, Raylonde Bryant. Court records show Mr. Bryant admitted to talking to another female and handed Ms. Gross his phone and she viewed the texts, resulting in her jumping from the floor to the bed and assaulting him.

She admitted to the assault and is free on a $250 cash bond.

Fentanyl found in purse of shoplifting suspect — Tiana Thorpe

Clarksville Police say they searched the purse of 27-year-old Tiana Thorpe during a shoplifting investigation at Walmart on Fort Campbell Blvd and found 3 grams of a substance that tested positive for containing fentanyl, along with a straw and baggies with residue.

Thorpe is free on a $25,000 bond.
