49-year-old Kenwood High School Assistant Principal & Athletic Director Garry James Chadwell was jailed Tuesday evening, charged with forcing a 17-year-old to penetrate him sexually. The indictment, a copy of which is in the story, alleges one count of forcing the child to penetrate him without the child’s consent, and another count of adding the statutory rape charge. DUI: Arik Browning says he’s “too f*-ked up to drive”

Police say 34-year-old Arik Browning was driving on Providence Blvd but was swerving so badly that at one point he approached the sidewalk. He reportedly smelled of alcohol, and performed poorly on field sobriety tests, including the lack of smooth pursuit in both eyes. He told officers he was “too f*-ked up to drive” citing a 2011 TBI. An open can of Blue Moon Belgian White Ale was located in the vehicle, and he eventually blew a 0.148% BAC on a breathalyzer.

Jonathan Smith charged after threatening to release intimate photos of his ex-lover

28-year-old Jonathan Mark Smith was jailed this week on a new harassment charge after his ex-girlfriend, Elizabeth Ann Cabral, says he continues to call her to ask for money and make threats to release her intimate photos in an attempt to jeopardize her military career. A commissioner set his bond for this charge at $500. He also has a prior pending domestic assault case with the same victim.

Soldier Marquez Williams strangles another soldier, threatens to shoot 16 party-goers

Multiple witnesses confirm that 32-year-old Fort Campbell soldier Marquez Williams showed up at a going away party for another soldier who was transferring to another base. He arrived at the party with a firearm tucked into his waistband while inebriated and was showing it off to people throughout the evening. He approached one man, Timothy Sutton, asking why he wasn’t drinking. Sutton explained his reasons were personal, at which point Williams grabbed him by the throat until he could not breathe and demanded he explain the reason or be shot in the face. Williams told him he had 17 bullets and there were only 16 people at the party. A witness, Tyree Shaw, confirmed the events to officers.

Motorcyclist killed in Hollingwood Blvd crash overnight

At 11:45 pm on April 10th, Clarksville Police responded to a motorcycle crash on Hollingwood Blvd. A motorcyclist was traveling East on Tiny Town Rd. at a high rate of speed and went through the intersection at Trenton Rd., continuing onto Hollingwood Blvd. The rider failed to negotiate the curve and the motorcycle struck the curb and he was ejected into the trees. Cederrick Hill held on $27,500 bond after 3rd DUI in recent months

32-year-old Cederrick Hill is jailed on a $27,500 bond after he crashed his Dodge Caliber in front of the Speedway on Tiny Town Road just after 6 p.m. Wednesday. He admitted to drinking prior to driving and was extremely intoxicated according to officers. At the time of his arrest, he was out on bond for a pending DUI from November of 2021, and he was convicted of another DUI in May of 2021. His license has also been revoked since the first DUI conviction.

Zamyia Ligon charged in series of Walmart thefts totaling $45, and they want their money back

19-year-old Zamyia Ligon is free on a $1,000 bond after being arrested this week on 5 outstanding shoplifting charges from October and November of 2021. Warrants show she walked out of Walmart on Madison Street with merchandise totaling $3.66 on 10/22, $6.54 on 10/26, $10.71 on $10/27, $6.54 again on 10/29, and $18.02 on 11/03. In total, Walmart says they lost $45.47 and are asking for full restitution.

Jerry Allen charged after throwing dirty diaper at girlfriend during argument

Qkarika Cochran (who has multiple prior violent domestic assault cases in which she is the assailant, and is currently on bond in one of those cases again an ex-lover) called police to report her new boyfriend, 24-year-old Jerry Ray Allen, poked her in the eye and told her to “stop talking”. Police arrived and interviewed Allen, who is also out on bond for a prior case, and he admitted he threw a dirty diaper and t-shirt at Cochran as they were arguing about relationship issues. Allen was deemed the primary aggressor and charged with domestic assault, violating his bond conditions, and resisting arrest when he “tensed up” in an attempt to not be cuffed.

Health Inspectors gave the SOHO Chinese & Japanese Fusion restaurant a 51 during a Thursday morning inspection in North Clarksville. The routine inspection revealed roaches crawling on the walls, floors, and pipes, no handwashing (and no soap at the sink), raw animal products improperly stored (some at improper temperatures and loose in grocery bags), dishes not being washed or sanitized, and the staff wasn’t checking dates or temperatures of food products. The location has a history of low scores, receiving a 58 in March of 2021, and a 66 in July of 2020.

Eddie Calvin Coburn charged with felony custodial interference after defying court orders

A Grand Jury indictment charging 40-year-old Eddie Calvin Coburn Jr. with ten counts of felony custodial interference has been unsealed in Montgomery County this week. Coburn was booked on the charges on April 4th and is scheduled to be arraigned later this month. Coburn, who was the custodial parent of the 5-year-old child, reportedly refused to comply with court orders allowing visitation with the non-custodial parent on multiple instances since July of 2021.

Mary Olivia Booker charged with animal cruelty after abandoning dog in Clarksville

52-year-old Mary Booker was booked into jail this week on an outstanding warrant from January, charging her with animal cruelty. It had been reported to animal control that a large breed dog had been abandoned at Booker’s home on Locust Street. For three days, officers attempted to contact Booker about the animal via in-person visits, phone, and email, without success. The dog was considered abandoned and taken into the custody of Animal Control, and a warrant was issued for her arrest.

Man charged with smashing wife’s phone when she tries to call 911 — Luis Martinez Muniz

26-year-old Luis Martinez Muniz is charged with taking the phone away from his wife, Kathy Martinez, and shattering it on the ground when she stated she wanted to call 911 to prevent an argument from escalating. It was unclear what the original argument was about. During the investigation, it was discovered he had also removed the battery cables from their vehicle and fled the scene before officers arrived.

Jasmine Bronaugh says she returned home from Fort Bragg to find her husband, 25-year-old Sean Bronaugh, had a party at their home. She told responding officers that she took his phone and discovered he was cheating on her. Sean says Jasmine woke him up by hitting him in the face before she went upstairs and locked herself in the bathroom with the phone. She says Sean broke through the bathroom door and began to punch her in the face with his fists, then slammed her head into the wall several times. She was able to get outside to call 911, however, both parties would end up behind bars.

Jasmine Bronaugh assaults husband, says he partied & cheated while she was at Fort Bragg

Sean Bronaugh says he was awoken from his sleep around 7 a.m. on March 27th, as his wife, 31-year-old Jasmine Bronaugh, returned home from Fort Bragg and began to hit him in the face, upset that she believed he was cheating and had thrown a party in her absence. She ran upstairs with his phone and locked herself in a bathroom. Sean broke through the door in an effort to retrieve his phone, and the couple began “wrestling around with each other” according to an arrest warrant. Both parties would be jailed for domestic assault.

Agents waited 1 year before charging Elijah McCoin with the drugs he agreed to take them to

On June 12, 2020, CPD Officer Dejesus initiated a traffic stop on 25-year-old Elijah McCoin and located multiple vacuum-sealed bags of marijuana. McCoin then consented to let agents search the bedroom of his home, which was nearby, which also revealed a large quantity of marijuana — and they let him walk away at that time. It would be over a year later, in July of 2021, before a warrant for the crime was signed. McCoin was picked up on that outstanding warrant this week and immediately released on a $5,000 bond, charged with possession of between 1/2 ounce and 10 pounds of marijuana.

David Pankoke confesses to taking nude photos of an underage victim while she slept

37-year-old David Pankoke was interviewed at the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office this week after authorities received 25 tips related to him being in possession of material considered child sexual abuse. During the investigation, Pankoke admitted to taking nude photos of a victim under the age of 13 while she was sleeping at his home. A search of photos from his phone’s cloud account while at the station also revealed over 100 images of individuals under the age of 16 while nude. A commissioner set his bond at $75,000.
