Financial Advisor Robert Kennedy charged in theft of $10K cash from girlfriend, Heidi Blessing

52-year-old Clarksville Financial Advisor Robert Kennedy was jailed in Nashville Tuesday, charged with felony theft. Court records allege he stole $10,000 in cash from his girlfriend, Heidi Blessing, which she had recently withdrawn from the bank for an upcoming surgery. The lovers had been celebrating Robert’s birthday at her apartment and were reportedly intoxicated when they got into an argument. She placed the cash inside a gold makeup bag that night and says he absconded with the cash the next morning. Police say security cameras show no one else entering or exiting the residence during the time the cash disappeared. Robert Kennedy is the son of Reber and Opal Kennedy, of Clarksville.

Woman charged in assault of her child’s father — Jariah Stanovic arrested

Clarksville Police responded to an apartment on Ringgold Court to find the front door open and a commotion taking place inside. They observed18-year-old Jariah Stanovic balling up her fists and standing over Justin Dawson, who was in a chair holding their five-month-old child. Dawson also told police she had hit him, pulled his hair, and he provided police with a video of Stanovic yelling and attempting to pry the child out of his arms.

20-year-old William Rye is charged with the domestic assault after his girlfriend, Naomi Southers, after she told police he became upset and “swept a bunch of items off the top of the dresser with his arm”. She says he then balled up his fists in front of his face and took what she described as a “fighting stance” and threatened to punch her, placing her in fear. Madison Gerkin called police on March 14th to report that her 19-year-old boyfriend, Malik Isaiah Scott, had assaulted her multiple times last year between August 20th and December 31st, 2021. 18-year-old Thomas Auston Wilcox is charged with assaulting his 17-year-old girlfriend after police say the two were in a vehicle when he hit her in the face multiple times with his hand. Haley Gentry charged with marijuana possession after Clarksville traffic stop

28-year-old Haley Gentry was driving on a suspended license when she was stopped in front of the Trap Market on Ft. Campbell Blvd Saturday. During the traffic stop, CPD Officer Logan Oakley noted he could smell the distinct odor of the devil’s lettuce emitting from her vehicle, and she replied of course he could smell it, as her friends had smoked in the vehicle earlier. Oakley then searched the Nissan Pathfind and located 4.6 grams (including the packaging) of the lovely leafy goodness and proudly charged her with possession of marijuana, even conducting a “field test” of the substance.

Kenneth Brooks charged after stabbing roommate’s bedroom door when he won’t come out

20-year-old Kenneth Brooks is charged with the aggravated domestic assault of their roommate, Taylor Callis after another roommate, James Cox, called 911 to report the two were fighting. Brooks reportedly came home drunk and began to yell at Callis, and swung at him. Brooks then reportedly grabbed a knife from the kitchen and beat on Callis’ bedroom door and stabbed through the door with the knife. Callis remained in his room until officers arrived on scene and determined it was safe for him to come out.

Woman who exposed her inbox is arrested with men, gun, & marijuana after a police chase — KeAundrea Stovall

22-year-old KeAundrea Stovall was a front-seat passenger in a vehicle driven by Fort Campbell Soldier Daniel Benefield on March 10th, which a deputy stopped after he says he noticed a tag light that wasn’t properly working. As Mr. Benefield stepped out of the vehicle to speak to the deputy, the back-seat passenger jumped into the driver’s seat and took officers on a chase for over eight miles. Before eventually coming to a stop, a gun was tossed out of the vehicle, and once the vehicle was searched, 43 grams of marijuana was found under the driver’s seat and another 6 grams in the trunk. No occupants would claim any of the items, so they were all charged.

If the name KeAundrea Stovall sounds familiar, it might be because she went viral on Valentine’s day after posting screenshots of her social media inboxes, showing hundreds of messages from local men, many of whom were not exactly single, leaving their significant others not exactly happy when they woke up on the day of love. Kayla Anise Whitted assaults her husband with her fist and a kitchen chair during dispute

30-year-old Kayla Whitted was jailed Saturday after assaulting her husband, Fornondo Whitted. He says the two were in an argument over their relationship when she punched him in the face, resulting in him restraining her in a bear hug to prevent further assault and injury to himself. He then hug-walked her to the door so the argument to de-escalate the situation. She had other plans, and as he retreated to the other side of the kitchen table she ripped a shelf off the wall onto the kitchen table and broke a glass, which she was was so she didn’t attack him again. She then pushed a chair up against him, and Fornondo pushed it back, and she picked it up and assaulted him with it.

Justin Corey McDaniel charged with assault of girlfriend after drinking Mike’s Hard Lemonades

36-year-old Justin McDaniel reportedly drank 2 Mike’s Hard Lemonades prior to grabbing his girlfriend by her arms inside a garage on Twin River Road and yanking her out of a vehicle in which she was sitting. Once she was on the ground, she says McDaniel got on top of her, grabbed her wrist, and threw a bucket at her before fleeing inside the house with her phone and keys. When she attempted to call police, he hid her keys and phone and attempted to prevent her from leaving. McDaniel says he was the victim as she came into the garage mad and attempted to hurt him.

Sequayah Lewis charged with pulling gun & knife on boyfriend after he talked to his child’s mother

Deputies say 33-year-old Sequayah Lewis was reportedly upset that her boyfriend, Cortavis Marable, had been talking to the mother of his children and refused to relay all of the details of the conversation to her. Cortavis says she retrieved a black handgun and chambered a round, making him fear for his safety. She then swapped the gun for a knife, acting as if she was going to stab him. She fled before police arrived and a warrant was issued for her arrest, charging her with aggravated domestic assault, and a commissioner set the bond at $15,000.

APSU Officer Levi Grub charges teen with felony drug possession for marijuana during a traffic stop

Austin Peay Police Officer Levi Grubb says he observed 18-year-old Najee Brogdon driving a white Kia Optomi without headlights at 6:15 p.m. on February 27th. He conducted a traffic stop and says he immediately smelled marijuana. Brogdon admitted there was a black satchel with weed inside, and Officer Grubb found 22 grams of the green leafy goodness. He is charged with felony drug possession, and a commissioner set his bond at $10,000.

34-year-old Ricky Grundy is charged with aggravated assault after his girlfriend, Johanna Guadalupe, says an argument between the couple became physical when he grabbed her by the neck, lifting her up, and forcing her to the floor of the living room while keeping his hands around her neck to restrict her breathing. She says he slammed her into multiple pieces of furniture before eventually letting her go, at which time she called 911 and he fled the residence.

21-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier William Cooper was found extremely intoxicated with soiled clothing at 4:45 a.m. Saturday, wandering through a neighborhood on Sandpiper Drive. And officer notes he had a “pungent smell” about him and neighbors reported he had attempted to enter random vehicles and multiple addresses, not knowing where he was at.

Kicked out of Electric Cowboy, Soldier Corbin Bailey resists arrest, refuses to get ride home

24-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Corbin Chenoweth Bailey was so intoxicated at the Electric Cowboy he was asked to leave by security. Despite attempting to get him to call a friend or rideshare, he insisted on getting in his car. Police arrived to attempt to get him to find an alternate way home, and noticed he had already vomited beside his car, and refused to exit the vehicle. After an extended period of time, he exited and they attempted to get him to find an alternate way to get home. He still refused, and when they told him they’d have to take him into custody for public intoxication, he backed up against a wall to prevent officers from cuffing him.
