Mary Olivia Booker charged with animal cruelty after abandoning dog in Clarksville

52-year-old Mary Booker was booked into jail this week on an outstanding warrant from January, charging her with animal cruelty. It had been reported to animal control that a large breed dog had been abandoned at Booker’s home on Locust Street. For three days, officers attempted to contact Booker about the animal via in-person visits, phone, and email, without success. The dog was considered abandoned and taken into the custody of Animal Control, and a warrant was issued for her arrest.

DUI: Tiffany Gaines blows double legal BAC limit during 3 AM traffic stop

28-year-old Tiffany Gaines was stopped near Tiny Town Road and Peachers Mill Road just after 3 a.m. on April 3rd after several traffic infractions and weaving and changing lanes erratically. Officers say she smelled of alcohol and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. Her SUV was also unregistered and the license plate was not on file. She blew a 0.160% BAC on a breathalyzer.

Man charged with smashing wife’s phone when she tries to call 911 — Luis Martinez Muniz

26-year-old Luis Martinez Muniz is charged with taking the phone away from his wife, Kathy Martinez, and shattering it on the ground when she stated she wanted to call 911 to prevent an argument from escalating. It was unclear what the original argument was about. During the investigation, it was discovered he had also removed the battery cables from their vehicle and fled the scene before officers arrived.

Sean Bronaugh breaks through bathroom door, assaults wife in attempt to retrieve his phone

Jasmine Bronaugh says she returned home from Fort Bragg to find her husband, 25-year-old Sean Bronaugh, had a party at their home. She told responding officers that she took his phone and discovered he was cheating on her. Sean says Jasmine woke him up by hitting him in the face before she went upstairs and locked herself in the bathroom with the phone. She says Sean broke through the bathroom door and began to punch her in the face with his fists, then slammed her head into the wall several times. She was able to get outside to call 911, however, both parties would end up behind bars.

Jasmine Bronaugh assaults husband, says he partied & cheated while she was at Fort Bragg

Sean Bronaugh says he was awoken from his sleep around 7 a.m. on March 27th, as his wife, 31-year-old Jasmine Bronaugh, returned home from Fort Bragg and began to hit him in the face, upset that she believed he was cheating and had thrown a party in her absence. She ran upstairs with his phone and locked herself in a bathroom. Sean broke through the door in an effort to retrieve his phone, and the couple began “wrestling around with each other” according to an arrest warrant. Both parties would be jailed for domestic assault.

Agents waited 1 year before charging Elijah McCoin with the drugs he agreed to take them to

On June 12, 2020, CPD Officer Dejesus initiated a traffic stop on 25-year-old Elijah McCoin and located multiple vacuum-sealed bags of marijuana. McCoin then consented to let agents search the bedroom of his home, which was nearby, which also revealed a large quantity of marijuana — and they let him walk away at that time. It would be over a year later, in July of 2021, before a warrant for the crime was signed. McCoin was picked up on that outstanding warrant this week and immediately released on a $5,000 bond, charged with possession of between 1/2 ounce and 10 pounds of marijuana.

David Pankoke confesses to taking nude photos of an underage victim while she slept

37-year-old David Pankoke was interviewed at the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office this week after authorities received 25 tips related to him being in possession of material considered child sexual abuse. During the investigation, Pankoke admitted to taking nude photos of a victim under the age of 13 while she was sleeping at his home. A search of photos from his phone’s cloud account while at the station also revealed over 100 images of individuals under the age of 16 while nude. A commissioner set his bond at $75,000.

Nicholas Smith charged with domestic assault after punching wall near his grandmother

While deputies were at the home of Marie Smith serving civil paperwork on March 28th, she told them about her grandson, 18-year-old Nicholas Smith, who got into an argument with her. She says he “reared his fist back” as if he were going to punch her, but punched the wall instead. She told deputies she was afraid she was going to be punched when it occurred, as he lunged at her. Based on the report, Nicholas was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault. He remains jailed in lieu of a $1,000 bond.

Cameron Ray faces felony charge after lying to police & insurance about how his car became totaled

20-year-old Cameron Ray is free on a $10,000 bond after lying to police and his insurance company about how his 2010 white Camaro became totaled. On March 6th the APSU Pike called police to 518 Franklin Street, where he reported someone crashed into his car in the church parking lot and fled the scene, causing full airbag deployment, and “massive damage” which the insurance company determined to be written off as “totaled”.

Days later it was determined that Ray was actually driving the car on Elkmont Drive when he left the roadway and struck a Chevrolet Silverado which was parked in a driveway, then fled the scene. Authorities suspect he was likely impaired at the time of the crash. He is charged with felony filing a false report and leaving the scene of an accident. Further insurance fraud charges and monetary civil suits are likely, according to those familiar with the events.

Tregan Woody charged with DUI after release from hospital following crash

23-year-old Tregan Woody was jailed this week on a March 7th DUI charge for which he was hospitalized immediately after the incident. Police say they observed Woody seemingly intoxicated with pinpoint pupils, unresponsive, and falling asleep after a crash with injuries at Kraft & College St, and medics transported him to Tennova for treatment. While at the hospital, he stated he does not do drugs, then admitted only to smoking marijuana prior to the crash. Police charged him with driving under the influence and noted a history of overdose and Fentanyl possession.

James Sprayberry indicted on multiple child sexual battery charges by Grand Jury

44-year-old James Sprayberry was jailed on March 30th on a Grand Jury indictment charging him with 3 counts of aggravated sexual battery of a child under the age of 13. The incidents are alleged to have occurred over the course of three years (there is one count per year for indictment purposes). The victim and Sprayberry shared an address in Woodlawn. He is free on a $50,000 bond via 2nd Chance 24 Hour Bail Bonding.

Tequila Towns assaults girlfriend when she brings a 3rd woman home for them to share

Clarksville Police responded to a potential entanglement-in-progress at the Landings at Riverside Apartments on March 28th. Erin Brown told police that her girlfriend, 22-year-old Ft. Campbell Soldier Tequila Towns had brought her friend, Chianti Simmons, to the apartment and asked Towns if the three of them could have sexual relations together, which started an argument, resulting in Brown demanding that Towns leave the apartment.

As Brown was packing up Towns’ things, Towns reportedly pushed Brown and strangled her in a chokehold until she was unable to breathe, and officers document petechia in both eyes of the victim. The potential thruple applicant, Simmons, told police she heard some type of struggle coming from the bedroom and decided to call 911 when she says Towns was on top of Brown, assaulting her.

Benjamin Kleinfelt charged after tossing cup into ex-wife’s wall during an argument

35-year-old Benjamin Kleinfelt is charged with vandalism after he reportedly picked up a cup and threw it into a wall at his ex-wife’s home while he was dropping off their children. The victim says he demanded to speak with her after dropping off the children and began to antagonize her and get in her personal space. As she backed away from him, she says he threw a cup into a wall, creating a hole in the drywall, which was estimated at $100 to repair.

Tonette Fletcher joins her two daughters in attacking two neighborhood children #ChildAbuse

VIDEO: 41-year-old Tonette Fletcher faces two counts of child abuse/neglect and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a child after authorities say she drove her two juvenile daughters to confront two other female juveniles. As the pairs of children were fighting each other, she punched the two opposing children with her fists. She then went live on social media, boasting about the assault and how she punched the children, and she and her daughters were going to repeat the assault again the next day.

Alcohol, handgun, & speed — Fort Campbell soldier Alexander Stapleton arrested: 73 in a 35

21-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Alexander Stapleton was clocked at 73 mph in a 35 mph zone in the early hours of Sunday morning by Deputy Jonathan Brown. Stapleton continued those speeds as the drove through a red light on Hwy 48. After a traffic stop was conducted, Stapleton was reported to be “heavily intoxicated” and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. There was Glock in Plainview in the vehicle, and he blew a 0.103% BAC on a breathalyzer.

Soldier found passed out in backseat of vehicle at Electric Cowboy — Andrew Hext

27-year-old Andrew John Hext Fridholm (Andrew Hext) was found passed out in the backseat of a vehicle just before 2 a.m. Saturday in the parking lot of the Electric Cowboy. Security notified Clarksville Police, who responded and found him with a bottle of alcohol still in his lap. Police let him exit the vehicle and call his wife to come to retrieve him. While he was waiting on her arrival, however, he became a nuisance and would not stay in a safe area on the sidewalk as directed and continued to attempt to be in traffic that was exiting while in his intoxicated state.
