Fort Campbell Soldier Ryan Cook says he had ‘3 shots’ prior to 4 a.m. DUI arrest

Just after 4 a.m. Sunday, THP Trooper Michael Hickmon was traveling on Fort Campbell Blvd when he observed 24-year-old Fort Campbell Soldier Ryan Tyler Cook driving a vehicle at 65 mph in a 45 mph zone while crossing over his lane of travel. During the subsequent traffic stop, Cook admitted to drinking “three shots” prior to driving and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. He later blew a 0.173% BAC on a breathalyzer.

Danaelius Gunn charged after strangling girlfriend, bleaching clothes, smashing windshield

Clarksville Police say as they responded to a domestic call on Dave Drive they observed the victim, Amenna Davis, at the end of the driveway bleeding, and 21-year-old Danaelius Illijah Gunn was walking outside and pouring bleach on a pile of the victim’s clothes which were on the ground by the front door. Gunn retreated to the house and locked the door, and would not speak to officers.

His girlfriend (the victim) stated they were in bed prior to the call when he suddenly told her to get out and threatened to kill her in her sleep. When she actually began packing her things, he became more upset and strangled her until she lost consciousness. When she came to, he beat her with a shoe and punched her as she was screaming for help. He then busted her windshield with a glass jar.

Mitsuko Martindale faces felony after lying to deputies about husband’s whereabouts

32-year-old Mitsuko Larell Martindale was charged with the felony of making a false report to an officer after the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office attempted to serve a warrant on her husband, and she told them he wasn’t home. Officers were attempting to serve a domestic violence warrant on John Martindale on Evans Road, and his vehicle was in the driveway. When his wife, Mitsuko, answered the door she insisted he was not there but stated she would call him to let him know they came by. After 25 minutes of back-and-forth, deputies entered the home and found him hiding in the bathroom.

Kennedy Owens kicks deputy in balls after arrest for DUI

23-year-old Kennedy Dominique Allen Owens was charged with DUI at the intersection of University Ave & Franklin Street in the early morning hours of July 31st. Witnesses say she attempted to flee before officers arrived; however, her vehicle was completely disabled. She performed poorly on field sobriety tests and was charged with DUI. Once at booking, while Officer Reid was swearing out her warrant at the magistrate window, Deputy Jeramy Bowen ordered her to sit down on the bench, and she refused while getting agitated and verbally aggressive. When the deputy pushed her toward the bench, she used her foot to strike him in the genitals.

Drunken Fort Campbell Soldier Ruth Valdez assaults police officer, slips cuffs

21-year-old Ruth Valdez was drinking with her friends all night at an apartment on Tiny Town Road when she decided she was going to drive home at 6:15 a.m. Sunday. Her friends called 911 when she attempted to leave in her vehicle while still extremely intoxicated. Officer arrived. As officers arrived and detained her, she hit Officer Malone and then began kicking the windows and partitions inside the patrol car. Due to her level of intoxication, she was transported to Sango ER where she managed to slip one of her handcuffs. There was a struggle in the hospital while attempting to get her hands cuffed behind her back for transport to jail, as she actively resisted all efforts.

Patrick Landers (DJ 730) found puking in front yard after rear-ending cop car in Clarksville

27-year-old Patrick Louwayne Landers, better known in the city as DJ 730XX, rear-ended a police officer on Fort Campbell Blvd just before 4 a.m. on July 22nd and fled the scene driving a red Toyota Camry. A short distance away, as that BOLO was coming across the radio, another officer noticed the Camry with the KY tag and attempted to initiate a traffic stop. Landers drove for a short distance as if looking for a place to stop, then suddenly fled at a high rate of speed.

Oak Grove Officers went to the registered address for the tag, and as they arrived, Patrick Landers was throwing up in the front yard. Officers were able to wake up the registered owner, who is Landers’ girlfriend, Checara Bailey, who stated Landers had just arrived home in the vehicle moments before. Sparkle Williams confesses to embezzlement scheme from Walgreens on Tiny Town Road

Clarksville Police say that between July 1st and July 25, 29-year-old Sparkle Williams embezzled $5,282 from her employer, Walgreens on Tiny Town Road. Bryan Varns, from Walgreens loss prevention, advised she reloaded store gift cards on 28 separate occasions during that period but never paid for the money that was loaded on them. Shen then took the gift cards to spend or sell. Williams completed a written statement admitting to the scheme but believed it was only approximately $2,000.

Andrew O’Hern charged with public intoxication; cut off & kicked out of downtown Clarksville bar

Clarksville Police responded to a report of a heavily intoxicated individual at 105 Social on Franklin Street in downtown Clarksville Thursday night just after 10 p.m. and found 35-year-old Andrew O’Hern, of Fort Campbell, near the bar. The bar manager had cut off O’Hern due to his level of intoxication and escorted him outside. Officers arrived and attempted to locate a friend or family member, but O’Hern stated he just transferred here and didn’t know anyone to assist him.

When Clarksville Police attempted to conduct a traffic stop on 22-year-old Avry Eden at 4:30 a.m. on July 14th for driving without tail lights, Eden fled through a stop sign and away from police with no intention of stopping and crashed his car on the way home. A short time later, Candice Eden contacted police and informed them her son, Avry, had just come home and advised her he had been in an accident. 22-year-old Dustee Waters was having a 7 a.m. dispute with the Econo Lodge on Wilma Rudolph Blvd, and Clarksville police responded to the scene. Officer Adam Price stood by while Waters removed her items from the room and noted he could smell marijuana. He says he then observed a baggie in Waters’ hoodie, and when he asked what was in it, she replied: “weed.” He placed her under arrest and charged her for the 14.5 grams of marijuana, along with paraphernalia for an open cigarillo packet found on a table in the motel room.

A 911 call stated that 23-year-old Shane Dee Lamison was drinking and throwing things around the residence, including his girlfriend, and had just left on foot.
